GAME, SET AND MATCH! - DIMITROV 6-1 6-1 CARRENO BUSTA. Another break - and that seals a top-class performance. Dimitrov warms up for his semi final with Jack Sock by maintaining his perfect record and irrepressible form at the O2 this week. The No.5 seed needed just 59 minutes to see off Carreno Busta, who was completely outclassed by a man finally playing the type of stand-out tennis he was being tipped to produce years ago.

Grigor Dimitrov not only sealed qualification from his group but will go through top

DIMITROV 6-1 5-1 CARRENO BUSTA. Dimitrov grimaces as he stuns the crowd by missing a deep forehand by inches. No-one can believe he's missed. He's been that good tonight. Almost flawless. Carreno Busta is being forced to go for difficult winners and he's not finding the target. It's a hold to 30 and Dimi is one away with less than an hour played.

DIMITROV 6-1 4-1 CARRENO BUSTA. Big cheers for Pablo as he digs out a first hold of the set from deuce to get on the board. He barely shows any emotion. In many ways this is a meaningless match for him, but taking such a battering will still be hurting his pride.

DIMITROV 6-1 4-0 CARRENO BUSTA. Pablo has some more treatment in-between games, but it's doubtful an injury is behind this drubbing. Dimitrov is simply in the zone and playing the best tennis of his career. He concludes with a sumptuous backhand winner down the line to back up the double break. Not far from the finish line now.

BREAK! - DIMITROV 6-1 3-0 CARRENO BUSTA. PCB has Dimitrov on the floor with a beautifully disguised dropshot that completely outfoxes his in-form opponent - but it's Dimitrov who once again prevails when it matters. The Bulgarian picks himself up off the floor and earns three break chances. The slice defence has worked a treat and have fully complemented the scorching groundstrokes, and it's another one of those that seals the double break of serve with a cracking return winner.

Grigor Dimitrov started his ATP Finals campaign with a win

DIMITROV 6-1 2-0 CARRENO BUSTA. Pablo returns to court after his time-out, and Dimi isn't quite as hot. The Bulgarian double faults and horribly miscues a forehand high into the crowd. Sadly for Carreno Busta, there's still some excellent tennis from his opponent too. A wonderful crosscourt forehand winner sees him consolidate with a hold to 30.

Pablo currently receiving a medical time-out following his tumble during that game. He's being stretched out by the physio. Looks like the lower back area.

BREAK! - DIMITROV 6-1 1-0 CARRENO BUSTA. Dimitrov is so, so comfortable right now. He finds his mark off both flanks, dictating the play and tactically dismantling his opponent. PCB ends up falling over in his desperation to reach another stonking pass, but gets up to save a break point with a big serve down the middle T. It merely delays the inevitable, however, as Dimitrov suffocates the Spaniard's court space and draws a long error to get off to a flyer at the start of set 2.

SET! - DIMITROV 6-1 CARRENO BUSTA. Dimitrov gobbles up the breadstick in just 22 minutes. The No.6 seed has been quite superb. He looks like a man in a hurry. The sooner he's done here the better of course, with the Sock semi final scheduled for tomorrow evening.

Grigor Dimitrov au Masters - 2017

DIMITROV 5-1 CARRENO BUSTA. Big cheers from the crowd as PCB gets himself on the board and avoids the humiliation of a bagel. It was fairly loose return game from Dimitrov, but credit to the Spaniard for shrugging off a double fault and sealing the game with a gorgeous forehand drive to the baseline.

DIMITROV 5-0 CARRENO BUSTA. Attention! Dimitrov has made an of his own doing error. The Bulgarian blots his perfect copy book with a double fault, but responds with a flurry of big serves to consolidate at speed. Just 16 minutes on the board and this set is almost done and dusted.

BREAK! - DIMITROV 4-0 CARRENO BUSTA. There's just a supreme technique, timing and depth to Dimi's strokes. He works his way to two more break points as Carreno Busta struggles to live with him. The Spaniard fights hard and gets encouraging applause from the crowd as he makes deuce. However, a tame backhand gives Dimitrov another chance and he drags his opponent form side to side before confidently executing an overhead to clinch the double break of serve. Devastating stuff.

Great stat.

DIMITROV 3-0 CARRENO BUSTA. The Bulgarian follows up crunching serves with corking winners off the forehand. PCB finally gets a point at the 12th attempt, but it doesn't stop Dimitrov, who duly consolidates with a simple forehand volley.

Grigor Dimitrov en su partido contra David Goffin en las ATP Finals

BREAK! - DIMITROV 2-0 CARRENO BUSTA. The Spaniard misses a sitter with an attempt at a disguised dropshot and it spells big problems. A lovely forehand winner sees Dimi tee up triple break point and he gets it done on the first of them as PCB slaps a shot into the net again. Eight points played, all Dimitrov's.

DIMITROV 1-0 CARRENO BUSTA. Grigor kicking this match off like a man quite simply oozing with confidence. He cannons down the big first serves and cruises to a love hold. Impressive.

PCB won the toss and opted to receive, so it's Dimitrov who will get us underway.

DIMITROV: "Every match is important to me. It doesn't matter if I've qualified or not. I'm just going to follow my rhythm and what I've been doing right and keep on playing. I'm not here just to participate. I'm here to come out and win."

Grigor Dimitrov became the third top-10 seed to exit the US Open

PCB: "I hope to do well against Grigor and make it another good match. I want to go to the offseason with a good taste."

Pablo Carreno Busta

HEAD-TO-HEAD: This is the fifth meeting with the match-up tied at 2-2. Carreno Busta has won the last two encounters, including a straight sets victory at this year's French Open.

Hello and welcome to the last round-robin match at the 2017 Nitto ATP World Tour finals. It's Grigor Dimitrov, who has already qualified as top dog in Pete Sampras group, against alternate Pablo Carreno Busta (in for the injured Rafael Nadal). Dimitrov will be hoping for a positive performance that doesn't exert too much energy as he meets Jack Sock in the last four tomorrow.
