Over and out...

"You have days like this but I work for these days," says Dimitrov. "It's a special win for me.

"My movement was great on the court. I was reading the returns pretty well. The semi-final was my first goal. I'm not here just to participate."

DIMITROV 6-0 6-2 GOFFIN

Dimitrov had some trouble serving out the match against Thiem on Monday but he won't have to do it here as he converts a third semifinal point with a superb forehand down the line. It is a comprehensive victory for the Bulgarian on his first appearance here and, on this form, no-one will want to play him.

Goffin can still go through from the group but that was a damaging thrashing.

DIMITROV 6-0 5-2 GOFFIN

Goffin smacks away a dead ball in frustration -- about the first sign of angst from the Belgian -- as Dimitrov closes in on the match with a hold to love.

15.17

DIMITROV 6-0 4-2 GOFFIN

Consecutive holds for Goffin, who is now serving well. He clinches the game by racing onto a drop-shot and finishing cross-court. Dimitrov has got that one-handed backhand purring but this second set could still go either way.

15.13

DIMITROV 6-0 4-1 GOFFIN

This is much more even now but Dimitrov, eventually, holds again. It looked for a moment like the comeback may really be on, as Goffin earned a 0-30 lead. But that coaching violation only seemed to inspire Dimitrov and he clinches the game when Goffin fires wide following four deuces.

Coaching violation for Dimitrov, who claims he didn't actually hear what his coach had said.

Obviously the line judge did...

DIMITROV 6-0 3-1 GOFFIN

A huge roar from the O2 (partly sympathetic, you have to assume) as Goffin finally holds after ten games and 48 minutes, finishing with a fine smash. He wasn't playing like a beaten man in that game, which included a lovely cushioned drop-shot winner. Comeback on? Well, he's only a break down in this second set.

DIMITROV 6-0 3-0 GOFFIN

That's a shame for Goffin, who earns a first BP with some much more assurred tennis, only to fire long after a lengthy rally. Dimitrov saves with a fine slice backhand and goes on to hold. Nine games in a row now for Dimitrov.

14.50

DIMITROV 6-0 2-0 GOFFIN

There's a groan from the crowd as Goffin double faults to concede the game. This is getting embarassing for the Belgian and you feel for him out there. The second set could be going the same way as the first, with Dimitrov utterly dominant again.

14.45

DIMITROV 6-0 1-0 GOFFIN

More of the same from Dimitrov, who holds at the start of the second set without breaking a sweat. Huge game coming up for Goffin now...

14.40

DIMITROV 6-0 GOFFIN

First set Dimitrov. The Bulgarian seals it with a beautiful down-the-line forehand to take the game 40-0. The entire set lasted just 28 minutes, including an eight minute second service game for Dimitrov.

14.37

DIMITROV 5-0 GOFFIN

One-way traffic as Dimitrov holds to love. Just 24 minutes played. This is a trouncing and it's all about avoiding the bagel for Goffin now.

14.36

A reminder that Goffin needs to win in straight sets to be guaranteed a place in the semis. That's looking very unlikely indeed at the moment.

14.35

DIMITROV 4-0 GOFFIN

A more competitive game - with the same outcome for Goffin, who is broken again. The Belgian saves three BPs (two coming from double-faults) but the pressure tells and Dimitrov converts the fourth when Goffin's forehand clips the net and flies long. Bad luck but Dimitrov is closing in on the first set already.

14.25

DIMITROV 3-0 GOFFIN

This is all a bit one-sided at the moment. Dimitrov again drops just one point on the way to a hold and seals the game with an assurred cross-court volley. The 26-year-old hasn't even got that one-handed backhand swinging yet.

14.22

DIMITROV 2-0 GOFFIN

Well, it did not take long for the first break. Dimitrov races to three BPs, punishing a tame 83mph second serve along the way, and converts the second when Goffin spoons a drop shot wide. A massive 'Come onnnnn!' from the Bulgarian, who looks right at home here.

14.17

DIMITROV 1-0 GOFFIN

Just as against Thiem on Monday, no sign of nerves from Dimitrov. Solid opening hold to 15.

14.15

Dimitrov will serve first.

The Bulgarian will reach the semi-finals with a win here. For Rafa Nadal's conqueror Goffin, it's a little more complicated. If he wins in straights, he will reach the semis. If he wins in three sets, he will may qualify depending on the outcome of tonight's match between Carreno Busta and Thiem!

14.13

Welcome everyone. Dimitrov and Goffin have finished their warmups.

The semifinals beckon...
