Roxy Pro starts with three straight lay days
Organisers called a lay day for the third day in a row ahead of the Roxy Pro women's surfing event in Biarritz on Thursday.
The world's best female surfers have congregated in the south of France for the event which is penultimate event on this year's elite ASP Women's World Championship Tour.
With a swell growing throughout the week it has been decided to call the surfers at 7am on Thursday for a possible start at 7:15am.
Four-time ASP Women's World Champion and current ASP women's world number one Stephanie Gilmore leads the field at the event.
