Japan dominate Quebec halfpipe
Japan's men dominated the halfpipe at the snowboarding World Cup event in Stoneham, Canada.
Ryo Aono led the way with three of his compatriots - Taku Hiraoka, Kazuumi Fujita and Kosuke Hosokawa - backing him up to take the first four positions in Quebec.
Canadian duo Brad Martin and Justin Lamoureux were the nearest contenders to the Japanese quartet in fifth and sixth respectively.
In the women's event Xuetong Cai of China took gold, ahead of Australia's Holly Crawford and another Japanese boarder Haruna Matsumoto.
France's MirabelleThovex was the only European contender to break the top four in either category.
