A terrfic break sees Williams fall just short of a century, finishing on 96. Clinical stuff from the Welshman, nothing Figueiredo could have done here.

You've got to feel for Figueiredo. He hasn't really done anything wrong but Williams is putting on a masterclass her. The reds are spread so don't be surprised if the Welshman makes a century here - he's on 52 now.
Williams doesn't misses the blue with a tough long pot, but no matter - Figueiredo concedes the frame. Could be over very quickly, this.
But that's a costly miss from the young man. A long red which he would normally make he misses badly, possibly due to nerves. You fully expect Williams to take the frame now.
Nicely poised this frame. Figueiredo is at the table, trailing by 23 points with two reds left, both of which are hugging the centre of the bottom cushion.
Figueiredo finally gets a chance to get to the table with the frame still up for grabs. He pots an impressive red before laying a clever snooker behind the yellow.
Fast-paced and accurate, Williams is showing the new boy Figueiredo how things are done, with a break of 80. The frame's over, but the Brazilian has come to the table to get the feel of the table.
Excellent start from Williams, with a break of 53 and counting.
