Well, that sums it up. Ding has a break of 47 and makes a mistake, throwing Gunnell back into the action 58-7 down. The Englishman misses his shot and promptly concedes the match.
And there's another one - a poor miss on the blue sees his break end at just seven. It just hasn't been his day so far.
This is all too easy for the Chinese Sensation. He's played pretty well without being spectacular, but any chance Gunnell gets generally ends in a miss.
Ding comfortably heading towards the second round unless Gunnell can produce something he hasn't shown as of yet.
