- End of 2nd Half
FULL-TIME. That sole Paul Pogba goal is enough to separate the sides here. Surely the Netherlands won't miss out on another major tournament...will they?
- OffAntoine GriezmannFrance
- OnN'Golo KantéFrance
N'Golo Kante has a few seconds of a run-out, replacing Antoine Griezmann.
Koscielny has worked really hard tonight - he's on the floor once more adjusting his socks.
Janssen had flicked it on to Memphis, who let fly with his left, and the keeper did very well to get that away.
Instinctive reaction save from Lloris!
- OffDavy PröpperNetherlands
- OnJetro WillemsNetherlands
Jetro Willems comes on for Davy Pröpper.
Griezmann and Strootman are the ones entangled this time, and it's a free kick to the Netherlands.
- OffKevin GameiroFrance
- OnAndré-Pierre GignacFrance
André-Pierre Gignac replaces Kevin Gameiro.
- Yellow cardKevin StrootmanNetherlands
Strootman misses the next game with that booking.
- Yellow cardPaul PogbaFrance
Pogba and Strootman are being utterly ridiculous and both of them get booked for shoving each other and then indulging in a spot of verbals.
France break, and they get themselves another corner.
Strootman and Matuidi are having a bit of a set-to in the box - the Frenchman is on the floor having a flick at his opponent's feet.
Curling free kick from Memphis on the left, hoping to deceive Lloris. He does not, and the goalkeeper happily gathers the ball.
- Yellow cardDavy PröpperNetherlands
Poor challenge on Gameiro by Propper.
Once more it's Van Dijk throwing himself towards the ball.
That's another lovely run from Karsdorp, curling in a cross that's sent out for a corner.
I keep forgetting Hugo Lloris is playing in this match. He has had little to nothing to do.
- OffDimitri PayetFrance
- OnAnthony MartialFrance
Martial replaces Payet.
Pogba should have done better there - a header from close range, blocked well by Stekelenburg this time.
Van Dijk clearly fancies himself to score tonight - another shot from him blocked at the back.
- OffGeorginio WijnaldumNetherlands
- OnBas DostNetherlands
And there's Bas Dost, then, replacing the stricken Wijnaldum as expected.
Great work from Karsdorp, blistering down the right and a decent ball in as the Netherlands play on with ten for the time being.
He's limping off, inevitably, if that's a hamstring problem. Bas Dost was warming up anyway, so presumably that'll be the change made.
Wijnaldum is on the floor and holding his hamstring. The Netherlands are in the wars a bit tonight.
Griezmann has a go as well, but he can't keep that on target.
Paul Pogba is certainly having a good game this evening. Great raking ball from him towards Gameiro, who can't quite control it.
A decent spell of possession for the Netherlands here, even if they're not going too far with it.
Janssen is being climbed all over in the box so it's no wonder he can only reach the side netting with his shot.
France kick us off for the second half.
HALF-TIME. Well, France are the better side, but haven't done enough in terms of creating and converting clear-cut chances. The Netherlands are somewhat toothless and only had their first shot on target five minutes ago.
Daley Blind tries to create something down the left, but nobody is there in the box to meet a ball in and it ends up bouncing out allowing France to break.
Very casual square ball as Janssen nips in and tries to get round the France defenders streaming into the box to rectify the mistake. He lashes his shot against the prone Koscielny, and it does strike his hand, but that's an accidental handball and there'll be no penalty given.
Memphis's corner is a bit better than the one Blind took earlier, and Pogba has to work to head that away.
Sissoko waltzes round Blind on the right but ends up in a cul de sac.
Some impressive technical skills showcased by the France side here, tricks and flicks all over the place.
A surge from Griezmann into the box, a rapid change of pace, and another France corner.
Watching that Pogba goal on slow motion makes one wonder what's going through the goalkeeper's head now. He got more than a touch to it and should probably have done much better.
- GoalPaul PogbaFrance
GOAL! And that is an absolute screamer of a goal from Paul Pogba. Koscielny surged through the middle and continued his run down the flank, but the ball had found its way to Pogba, who let loose from range with a swerving shot that Stekelenburg got a touch to.
France making the effort to calm this down a bit now after some threat from the hosts.
Another corner kick to the Netherlands, again aimed towards Virgil van Dijk.
Good free kick in from Memphis, towards Virgil van Dijk, and that's out for a corner.
That looks like a sizeable bruise on his face as he's helped up and off for more treatment.
Koscielny is ballwatching and has launched himself at velocity into Karsdorp, who's looking a bit pained.
Optimistically long ball from Koscielny down the left, leaving too much for anyone to do as they give chase.
Nice little exchange of passes leaves Klaassen in space in the box, because he's offside.
Promes looks miserable - he's gingerly jogging off to be replaced by Memphis.
That is a dreadful corner. It doesn't get over the head of Griezmann, the first man.
A corner for Netherlands, and the rhythmic clapping starts from the home fans as Daley Blind prepares to take.
First real shot, from Gameiro on the edge of the box, and Stekelenburg punches that away - it comes to him at a nice height.
The Netherlands fans are roaring at their team as they attempt to defend but they're under such pressure as Payet starts to get into the game.
Griezmann is finding himself dropping deeper than he might have expected as France roll the ball all over the park.
Such slick passing from France, Matuidi and Payet making some good contributions here.
Netherlands are not getting a foothold in this game at the moment.
Pogba is getting his shirt tugged in the centre of the box but the referee doesn't see it.
First corner to France after good work from Gameiro.
France stroking the ball around nicely here in the opening seconds.
And an extremely pleasant performance of the Netherlands anthem too.
National anthem of France, performed rousingly.
And there are even bright orange inflatable tube men. Beautiful scenes.
The teams are ready to climb the stairs on to the pitch, and the fans are ready to release a lot of streamers.
