Han Peng has taken a right smack on the head, and there's a lot of blood. They're trying to bandage it up but I fear she's going to end up looking a bit like that famous photo of Terry Butcher. Maybe they should take her off, even though they've used their subs.
Four minutes of additional time - can Cameroon get that equaliser?
And Cameroon break again with a cross from Akaba but nobody can get that in.
Oh, Wang Shan Shan has another individual chance but Ndom and Manie combine to nullfy her again.
Enganamouit is doing some sterling defensive work her too, closing the China players down and looking for the break.
Tcheno's cross easily floats into the hands of Wang Fei - they'll need to do better than that for a late equaliser.
What a chance for Cameroon, but Akaba trips as she's about to eiher shoot or get a cross in, and the moment's over.
Great chance for Lou! She spots Ndom off her line and attempts a lob - but the keeper gets her fingertips to it.
Enganamouit thinks she's challenged Ren Guixin fairly. If you call an arm across her shoulder fair.
She's OK - looked like she might have jarred her knee.
Ndom's down and receiving treatment after colliding with Wang Shan Shan. Shame, she's been excellent today.
Ngono Mani has been lively today, but Cameroon are going to ring the chances for this last 20 minutes or so.
Handball against Lou Jiahui as she goes in on Ndom.
Good run from Wang Shuang, still no offside flag needed, and once against Ndom is quick off her line.
Great chance from Nchout, sharp on the volley, but straight at the keeper.
Ndom is playing very well, and claiming another Wang Lisi cross here with confidence.
Another good challenge from Enganamouit in the box, and the China keeper just gets a touch on it for a corner.
Bringing on Nchout may help.
The chances are queuing up for Cameroon now but they need to convert some.
Cross in from Yango, and Enganamouit's header is JUST off target. She looks mortified.
Flag stays down as Wang Shan Shan times her run well, but under pressure from Awone and Ndom racing out, she skews her shot horribly wide.
There's not a lot of elegance about Cameroon's defending at the moment, with desperation creeping in.
Another great cross from the left courtesy of Wang Shan Shan but Ndom claims that.
Unfortuante slip from Onguene as she puts in a cross, but it rebounds back to her and she gets a second go - that's high.
Miscontrol from Wang Lisi at the back post,, not having the time to get the ball down and her shot off as Leuko closes her down.
Han Peng's swift to grab the ball and move in, but the flag is already up. End of end stuff again at the opening of this half.
Another Cameroon set piece wasted due to pushing in the box. Need to sort out that indiscipline.
Again, quick off the mark, and this time it's Wang with the early chance.
Cameroon get the second half under way.
A last ditch opportunity falling to substitute Wang Shuang, and she despairs as she fails to knock that in.
One minute of additional time to be tacked on at the end of the first half.
Too much pushing and shoving in the box from Cameroon, and another corner wasted.
China are defending really solidly - Cameroon can't make anything of their set pieces. Onguene and Enganamouit looks like the most likely to have any impact as they take players on.
Slightly limp shot from Han Peng, rolling through to Ndom.
Deep corner from China, and Cameroon pack the centre of the box but leave their opponents too much space at the sides.
Tang Jiali heads off to be replaced by young Wang Shuang.
Free kick to Cameroon - Manie takes it but nobody can get that past Wang Fei.
Enganamouit gets herself caught between two China defenders and then bundles Han Peng over to concede a free kicl.
Cameroon are looking really strong in that midfield - China can't break through it at the moment. Mind, Cameroon's attacking is still missing that last incision.
The pace is slowing down a tad as a few mistakes and fouls creep in and interrupt play.
Cameroon are pressing really well but they currently don't have a cutting edge.
Wang Fei hasn't got much time to think with Onguene lurking, but she does well to boot that out into touch.
It's definitely being played at a lick - and the conditions must be humid after that rain and the storm.
Han Peng finds herself alone and bearing down on goal, but she can't direct her shot, although it nearly ends up at the feet of her team-mate racing up the other flank.
Onguene's alert as Enganamouit's free kick crashes into the wall, but she can't connect with it and it's into the site netting.
Cameroon break immediately through Onguene, whose cross is just behind the two players in the middle.
Ndom comes out to attempt some contact with the ball, but misses it completely - lucky China aren't alive to it.
The crowd may be sparse in Edmonton but they're certainly making some noise.
Cameroon looking to get right back into this, but Leuko is flagged offisde.
GOAL! Wang Shan Shan gets her second of the tournament, as Li Dongna sets her up from the back post.
Corner to China, their first of the game.
It's a very sharp and pacy start to this encounter, finely balanced at the moment.
Wang tries something from the left, but Ndom gets her hands behind that.
Cameroon get it back and get up the other end of the park to win the first corner.
Wang's quick on her feet there, but Awona puts her head in the way.
Enganamouit gets a scolding from the referee - no cards to be distributed yet.
But they lose possession quickly and Cameroon are quick to pounce in midfield.
Free kick to China in their own half, and they look to work it forward.
Mistake from Li, and Ngono Mani is through on goal within a few seconds! It's over the bar.
China kick off, all in white.
Huddling, team roars, and we're ready to go.
The Cameroon players cover their hearts with their hands as they sing.
China get their national anthem first.
The teams are heading out on to the pitch - lots of water around on the ground.
I was hoping the ground might start to fill up a bit, but not at all as yet.
