That's full time. An impressive win for Liverpool, who managed without Coutinho well enough. Van Dijk looks an impressive signing, and Everton had more than a little fight to them too. We may, however, end up talking more about Firmino's exchange with Holgate - let's hope it wasn't anything too serious.
Holt-o makes a good point here. Liverpool could be a much tougher opponent for the second half of the season.
Liverpool sit back as they look to ride out the next few minutes.
There will be four minutes of added time, at least.

We go again.
Two minutes of added time.
Firmino appears to have said something Holgate to kick everything off - unclear as to what.
Robertson sends in a tempting cross for Oxlade-Chamberlain who is rushing in, bit it's a yard ahead of him, at most, and the danger passes.
Still nothing from Madley. No bookings for anyone. Weird.
No cards for either side yet, but the ref goes to John Moss on the touchline for some hot chat.

- Goal by penaltyJames MilnerLiverpool
GOAL! Liverpool 1-0 Everton. Milner scores - A confidently taken penalty from Milner. Pickford dive left, Milner clilps it slightly to his right and his side are 1-0 up.
PENALTY! Lallana is fouled in the box as he touches a couple of volleys around Holgate, into the box, and is pulled by the defender.
Mane shoots from 25 yards out, falls as he does so, and it rises a good 15 yards wide.
Rooney flicks on a pass down the middle for Calvert-Lewin to chase, and it's only a few yards too far ahead of him as Karius comes out to clear.
Sigurdsson tracs back to tackle Oxlade-Chamberlain. On the replay it's clear, but it did initially look like a foul. Well done, ref!
Calvert-Lewin attempts to flick a fiercely struck long ball over the head of his marker, but he can't quite manage to pull it off.
Bolasie has a cross headed behind. Sigurdsson takes the corner, and it's headed out by Milner at the near post. It comes to Martina, and it flies miles over.
Calvert-Lewin catches Van Dijk, but it's nothing especially malicious or serious.
Milner is picked out at the back post with a cross from deep by Gomez. He falls as he volleys across goal, and it flies wide of the goal as Lallana stretches towards it.
Robertson charges into Kenny after Kenny had done the same on the byline. They're all friends now! Maybe.
Everton have their chance to play the ball about the defence, between the central defence. A long ball ends up headed out of play and Everton have it again. Cavert-Lewin finds Kenny, and he hits a cross way above everyone.
Liverpool again have the bal in defence. It's cut out, and the attack is ended by a Rooney pass. He never played well for United, really, against Liverpool.

Sam Allardici has impressed over the few weeks he's been at Everton, but his side were pretty gutless against Manchester United. This is a fixture that Everton traditionally struggle with - as they do against United - so this may be a chance to show a change in attitude.
Klopp has only lost a few games this season, but it feels like an important time for the club. They've signed Van Dijk and could soon lose Coutinho. There is a lot of integration to be done at a time that doesn't really permit much work on the training ground.
Evertoon pick Wayne Rooney, and have Yannick Bolasie making his return from injury after featuring agaiinst Manchester United. The bench is pretty youthful, with Oumar Niasse dispaced by Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The debut is here for Virgil van Dijk. With Joe Gomez and Joel Matip alongside him, this might be Liverpool's strongest defence. James Milner and Emre Can are sufficienty doughty to boot a few people about and make a difference, while Philippe Coutinho is nowhere to be seen.
