Martial shoots from outside the box but Ryan gets down to claim. Ryan has played very well today despite the scoreline.
Dunk fouls Rashford just outside the box and is lucky not to pick up a second yellow. Fred's curled free-kick floats over the bar.
Rashford's free-kick crashes off the wall. Lingard then fizzes a ball across the goalmouth which Rashford picks up.
He spectacularly nutmegs Propper before shooting from close range, but Ryan makes the save before going down for some medical treatment.
That was something else from Rashford! Simply sublime piece of skill.

James sprints down the right and squares for Rashford who had an open goal to slot it in, but he hits his shot wide! The home supporters inside Old Trafford cannot believe it! A sitter.

Rashford gets the goal. He's teed up by Martial who draws Ryan out and smashes his right-footed strike in from close range off the crossbar.

CLOSE! Gross heads towards Maupay, who is kept onside by Wilson. He shoots towards goal from point-blank range but De Gea bats it away!
CHANCE! Fred's vicious strike from 25-yards out is almost too much as Ryan cannot keep hold of it!
It bounces off the bar then back into the grateful arms of the Australian goalkeeper.
James' long ball finds Rashford. He chests it down and hits it on the bounce, but it veers wide.

Maguire ventures forward and has a shot from 25-yards out which deflects behind for a corner. Pereira's cross is headed clear by Duffy.
United looking for that third goal which would surely see this game off.
March's dangerous cross is steered away by Lindelof. Brighton do appear to be playing with greater width now.
Brighton appear to be in a 3-5-2 formation now. United still looking bright in these opening moments of the second half.

We're back underway! Brighton make two changes with Solly March and Glenn Murray coming on for Connolly and Montoya.

A comfortable first half for Man Utd thanks to two quickfire goals. The first scored by Andreas Pereira via a big deflection and a scrappy Davy Propper own goal is the difference at the break.
Not pretty but United in a good lead. Second half coming up!

James loses his marker and sprints down freely down the right flank. His cross almost finds Rashford but Dunk intercepts with a crucial headed clearance behind for a United corner.
The set-piece comes off Stephens and goes out for another United corner... which amounts to nothing.
BIG MISS! Brighton have a free-kick which Trossard floats in. Connolly, who is unmarked in the box, meets it but he nods it wide!
Where on earth was the marking! Absolutely nowhere.
Rashford is back on the pitch again and we play on.
Rashford clatters into the back of Duffy after seemingly bouncing off the towering centre back and is now receiving medical treatment.
De Gea is back on his feet as a handful of Brighton players pick up some instructions from boss Potter. The visitors have looked a bit livelier in the last few minutes.
Brighton have a corner after Propper plays the ball off Maguire.
Trossard's cross is headed clear by McTominay but play will now be stopped as De Gea is down holding his face.

YELLOW! Montoya picks up a card for a poor challenge on Rashford which now means Brighton have picked up three yellows in the opening half-hour.
CLOSE! A Brighton free-kick swung into the box is flicked on by Dunk towards Duffy but he cannot quite make a clean connection and the ball bounces out for a goal kick.
There was a tangling of legs between Rashford and Dunk in the box and it's gone to a VAR review.
Referee Jon Moss did feel there wasn't enough there to merit a penalty and play continues.
A very comfortable afternoon so far for United with Brighton doing next to nothing to threaten the host's goal.
CORRECTION! United's second goal has been confirmed as a Davy Propper own goal, so McTominay goes back to being on two for the season.

GOOD EFFORT! Rashford picks the ball up on the left flank, cuts onto his right foot and charges into the box before firing a low strike on goal. Ryan gets down to it and clutches to his chest!
Wan-Bissaka's low cross is intercepted by a sliding Duffy. There's appeals for handball as the defender left a trailing arm out, and it's going to VAR... but the decision is 'play on'.
McTominay is down and looks in some discomfort after being caught, but he's back on his feet now and looks fine to continue for now.
James' cross from the right looking for Rashford is headed behind by Montoya and United have their first corner of the afternoon. Duffy rises highest to clear the danger.
A loose pass from McTominay gifts Trossard the ball and Brighton can advance forward. David De Gea is yet to be tested so far.
YELLOW! Stephens fouls Pereira with a late lunge which results in the Brighton midfielder in more pain than the Brazil international.
Stephens is booked as a result. The following free-kick comes to nothing.
A slow start to this one with United getting some time on the ball now. A long ball from Lindelof almost finds Rashford but Ryan claims it first.
We are underway at Old Trafford! Today's referee is Jon Moss who has handed out two red cards so far this season.
Unfortunately the famed phrase 'you can't win anything with kids' is fairly accurate when you attach it to United's current league form.
Nevertheless Ole is going to go for it again with a youthful setup. Will it work? Time will tell!
