There's the whistle now, 2-0 to Chelsea who go second in the league and take a sixth consecutive win, with their youngest ever Premier League starting side.

A high challenge there by Kelly sees him given a yellow card, and Chelsea a free kick. Willian is unlucky as the keeper save it.

We've four minutes of stoppage time to play.

Hudson-Odoi fancies his chances as he makes a blistering run for it. He's got plenty of space, but he's not on target.

Chelsea make their final substitution and that is Billy Gilmour for Mason Mount.

Wililan has been fouled A LOT today. Schlupp is the offender, this time.

Kouyate comes off for Palace and he's to be replaced by James McCarthy.

What did I say this game had written all over it?

And he's off now, Callum Hudson-Odoi will take Pulisic's place.

GOAL! Pulisic gets there in the end as he heads in the ball after Batshuayi's strike deflects of the Palace defense.

A fast cross there by Emerson who whips the ball into the box, but there's not one there to pick it up.

Palace deserve a point here - it's been a decent effort by them. But I think their attack has come too little too late, now.

Horrible pass there. Zaha thinks he has cover to his right, but that cover has sprinted forward and the ball is loose.

During that break, there's a subsitution for the Chelsea side, Tammy Abraham is off and Michy Batshuayi is on.

That run is interrupted after Zouma takes a bash on the head as he clashes going for a header.

Palace are upping their game now. They've enjoyed a decent period of pressure over hte last five minutes or so. The game's not over yet.

Schlupp comes on for McArthur.

Roy Hodgson lokos like he is getting ready to switch up the Palace attack. Jeffrey Schlupp looks to be warming up.

Pulisic really wants to get on the scoresheet today. He has another crack at the goal and it sails over the bar.

Palce have a decent stretch in possession which comes to an end as Zaha plays the ball a little too deep.

Zaha is on the ball and he wants to equalise by Zouma does his best Gandalf impression and blocks his passage.

Chelsea have really stepped this up and the Palace defence is starting to look like a Benny Hill sketch.

A good save by Guaita as Pulisic strikes on target.

Palace want to equalise, and they do well to get into the final third and hold possession for as long as they do, but it's not good enough. I think they will struggle to equalise here. This has 2-0 to Chelsea all over it.

That's ruffled the Palace defence a little and Chelsea want to make the most of it. Could have had a secod then, but Abraham slips. 1-0 to Chelsea.

GOAL! Palace's defence just out there and Tammy Abraham absolutely capitalises on that. He gets in front of the goal and slots the ball in the bottom right corner.

Although one is all it takes, of course, if Palace can just get that counter-attack they need.

It will be interesting to see if Palace can keep the wolf from the door here for another 45 minutes. They've defended exceptionally well, but you get the very strong sense here that if anyone is going to score, it's not going to be the visitors.

Abraham has an early chance he's offside when he takes the ball.

We're back for the secnod half.

Very very close there for Chelsea - James crosses the ball in, and it looks like Cahill blocks it. Willian jumps on the rebound but the keeper pounces on it. The whistle blows shortly thereafter and we remain 0-0 at the end of the first half.

It's a very defensive game by Palace today, Chelsea will need to bring something different in teh seond half if they are to unlock it.

We've four minutes of stoppage time to be played here.

Good defensive work by Chelsea who subdue a moderate threat by Palace, as the Eagles find the final third.

There's going to be a substitution now. Martin Kelly is going to come on for Joel Ward who has been injured. Bad news for Palace.

Willian takes another corner and Kouyate clears it. Another chance for Willian, but a deflection on the way in takes the power out of it.

Palace finally have the ball at the right end of the pitch but some horrible footwork by Ayew sees the ball gufted back to the home side.

Willian tries to pick out Emerson, but the offside flag is up.

We are still 0-0 here at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea have another free kick now after WIlilan is given a little shove on the edge of the area.

Another yellow card for Chelsea, Kovacic comes at Townsend with a double footed tackle and is bokoed for his troubles.

This one is just on the edge of the area, 18 yards out, right in front of the goal, but it meets the wall and is headed away.

Mount goes down no the edge of the are. That'll be another free kick. One of these has got to go in eventually, right?

Emerson takes it this time, it's a little too high and sails over the bar.

Zaha basically rugby tackles WIllian to the ground and earns himself a yellow card. Completely uneccessary by the Palace man, and a free kick for the opposition in a dangerous area on the edge of the box.

Palace are working hard to keep Chelsea at bay, but the break seems inevitable. Pulisic is consistently causing them problems. So far they're defending well - little opportunities to take the lead themselves, though.

And Zaha, with possibly his first touch of hte gam there, fouls the opposition. He's probalby lucky not to get a yellow card himself, actually.

Willian has a corner for Chelsea and that's cleared. Palace make a break for it but a reckless challenge by WIllian earns him a yellow card.

A great kick over the wall by Willian, it looks like it's gone in but it's just wide. A really good effort nonetheless.

Chelsea have a free kick now.

Good chance there for Chelsea as Willian bursts forward and Pulisic has the ball in the box. He can't lift it above Guaita who makes a very decent save, there.

Mount is given a free kick after he's taken uot by Kouyate. It's a weak cross though, lacking pace.

Pulisic is in a nice position there just on the edge of the box, on the near post. He shoots well wide of that post, however. We're still warming up, here.

Tammy Abraham looks shocked as a throw in doesn't go his way.

It's Reece Jones' first Premier League start, today. One of the things they've seen change this season is that Lampard has had to reply more heavily on younger talent thanks to the club's two-season transfer ban. And so far... well, it's not working out badly for him.

Palace are patiently passing the ball, but Chelsea are really piling on the pressure as they struggle to get out of their area.

A cross into the box there by James and that could have been a goal for Chelsea if Abraham had looked a little livlier.

There's the whistle - we're off.

After a minute's silence, we're ready to kick off now, here at Stamford Bridge.

And with Remembrance Sunday tomorrow there are, of course, some Chelsea Pensioners on the pitch shaking hands with the players, now.

Meanwhile Palace manager Roy Hodgson will oversee a his 300th match at the helm of a Premier League club today, which he says is "very nice." Well done Roy.

Chelsea will feel confident going into today's match with a five-match winning streak behind them, in the league, and a Premier League manager of the month prize for Frank Lampard, for October. After a bit of a rusty start, Chelsea look to be settling in nicely, now.

And if it's tight at the top of the table, the picture is much the same around the middle as ninth place Palace are level on points with Brighton, just a place ahead of them, and two above 10th place Man Utd. Palace would need a win today to see any movement, but that would send them up to fifth, again, at least for an hour or two.

Chelsea are sitting pretty in fourth place, level on points with third place Leicester, who face Arsenal later today. Leicester have a pretty healthy looking goal difference thanks to that record-breaking 9-0 win against Southampton a few weeks back. Nonetheless, a win today would see Chelsea leapfrog into second place for at least a couple of hours.

So let's have a little look at the table...

Palace's Twitter bods reliving some glory days, but who will be celebrating this afternooon?

And it's nothing but love from Chelsea.

Gary Cahill will face his old stomping ground today as he starts for Palace, but just one change today for Roy Hodgson's men which is Andros Townsend returning from injury to replace Jeffrey Schlupp.

The big news from today's Chelsea lineup is that N'Golo Kante is back in action for the first time in over a month after recovering from an injury he picked up in his side's Champions League match against Ajax. That's one of three changes as Reece James and Emerson also start. Jorginho, Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta make way for them.

Chelsea: Kepa, James, Tomori, Zouma, Emerson, Kante, Mount, Kovacic, Willian, Pulisic, Abraham. Subs: Caballero, Christensen, Giroud, Hudson-Odoi, Batshuayi, Azpilicueta, Gilmour // Crystal Palace: Guaita, Ward, Tomkins, Cahill, Van Aanholt, Milivojevic, Kouyate, McArthur, Townsend, Zaha, Ayew.
