A standard comfortable City performance away from home. Not at their absolute best but far too good for the home side. Thanks for following the game with us.

Four minutes of injury time. It seems like both teams have settled for this result now.

Solanke is through on goal but can only hit an effort straight at Ederson.

De Bruyne puts through Sterling who finds the back of the bet but he is just offside.

A Graphic just showed Aguero reached 400 career goals with that strike. Independiente, Atletico and Argentina have also benefiited from the little diamond's efforts of course.

Bernardo is replaced by Riyad Mahrez. Never get weaker with a change do they? Unless it's Bravo for Ederson.

Beautiful ball with the outside of the ball from De Bruyne to Sterling but the England striker was forced wide and his cross cleared.

Jordan Ibe comes on for Adam Smith. His first action of the Premier League season and another expensive signing from Liverpool Dominic Solanke replaces Callum Wilson.

GOAL! Aguero again. He flicks the ball away from Cook on the edge of the Bournemouth box, then Silva carries the ball to the six-yard box where he is tackled by Ake, but the former Atletico striker was following up and slammed the ball home.

No penalty. I thought Lerma stood on Silva's foot but apparently not.

Silva goes down in the box at the end of a slick City move but no spot kick is awarded. VAR is checking it now. I think it's a penalty.

Ederson does well to punch away from Callum Wilson after a fine cross from Smith. The home crowd is up and about now.

City supporters thought they'd scored when De Bruyne was set up by a square ball from Aguero but he just failed to squeeze the ball inside the post as it ruffled the outside netting.

Great challenge from Steve Cook saved a goal after Aguero headed Zinchenko's cross down into the path of Sterling who seemed certain to score from six yards out.

The crowd up in arms at Sterling's slightly late foul on Smith. You can see them helping Kyle Walker get his marching orders if/when he dives in carelessly.

Back underway in the second half.

Half Time

And that's the first half done. Harry Wilson's wonder-strike really has kept the game competitive when it looked like City were cruising.

Aguero has a chance to restore the lead to two goals but heads wide after he is picked out by Bernardo's cross from the right wing.

GOAL! Harry Wilson. Another fine strike from the on-loan Liverpool man. A wonderful unstoppable free kick that clipped just under the right upright before bouncing into the net.

Good stat from my old mate Opta Joe. Well, mate stretching it a bit but know each other to say hello and have enjoyed probably 4/5 nice chats. What would you call it? Anyway, interesting de Bruyne reached the milestone with that awful scuff that led to Aguero goal.

GOAL! And no surprise it's Sterling. Superb play from City. Laporte across to Bernado on the right wing, he plays inside to Silva who slips a beautiful through-ball to Raheem Sterling who scores his 8th goal in 5 games.

So close from Adam Smith! Otamendi has a brain fade and chests the ball down in the box, Smiths races onto it and lashes a left-footed strike that seems destined for the roof of the net but it flicks off the head of Ederson and over.

Bournemouth almost catch City napping as Fraser's long throw bounces to Ake who fails to connect well with a half-volley

Harry Wilson comes on to replace Daniels.

Daniels is stretchered from the field to applause from all around the ground. Horrible to see him suffer like that.

Daniels has gone down clenching his knee after putting a cross into the box. This looks back. He's just back from a knee injury he suffered in March.

Just looks too easy for City now. Laporte plays a low ball into Aguero on the edge of the box and he has time to turn and shot but it is deflected wide.

City controlling possession now and look to be demoralising their opponents - as they have that annoying tendency to do.

Silva is denied a goal on his 400th game by Ramsdale who parries his volley away well. The Cherries defender do not look alert today which could be very bad news.

GOAL FOR CITY! Aguero scores. He exchanges passes with Silva in midfield, then when de Bruyne muffs the ball after he was found by a Zinchenko square ball, the little Argentinian was alive and steered the ball home with the side-foot of his left.

Ederson comes charging out of the box to the attacking left wing and takes Wilson out with a high kick on the ribs. He went for the ball but if it was an outfield player it might have been red not yellow.

Yellow card for Kyle Walker for that trademark City lose the ball in the final third and hack the ball winner.

Great chance for City as Silva was played through on the left flank andpulled back for Bernado who skewed his effort wide of the Bournemouth goal.

Zinchenko is getting treatment after he was caught in the mush after pulling down Adam Smith. Served him right really.

King robbed possession 40 yards from goal and raced to the edge of the box but hit his effort straight at Ederson. Bright start for the home side.

Here we go. Come on Cherries give us a contest. For ten minutes at least...

Here's Micah Richards on the improvement he has shown in the last couple of years

Eddie Howe will have wished Raheem Sterling was rested for this game. Eight goals and two assists in 7 Premier League matches for the England star against the Cherries.

The teams in full:

Bournemouth: Ramsdale; Smith, Mepham, Ake, Cook, Daniel; Lerma, Billing, King, Frase; Wilson

City: Ederson; Walker, Otamendi, Laporte, Zinchenko; Gundogan, Silva, De Bruyne; Bernardo, Sterling, Aguero

Subs: Bravo. Angelino, Rodrigo, Fernandinho, Mahrez, Cancelo, Foden

As for the champs, David Silva comes in for his 400th game for the club. He replaces Rodri leaving a very attacking midfield of Gundogan, de Bruyne and Silva. Lack of respect for the Cherries? We shall see.

The teams are in and there's one change per side from their last games. Harry Wilson is dropped after scoring a beauty last time out against Villa. Chris Mepham returns to the line-up for the Cherries who play five at the back as usual against City.
