A huge congratulations to France for winning the World Cup but transfers never sleep! Chelsea are prepared to fight to keep Eden Hazard whilst Gareth Bale wants talks at Real Madrid over his future. It's Monday's Paper Round.

Chelsea will fight to keep Hazard

We start with The Telegraph who report that Chelsea are prepared to fight to keep Eden Hazard. Real Madrid and Barcelona want to sign the Belgian winger following a stellar showing at the World Cup but the Blues will demand over £200 million for the forward.

Paper Round's view: This is relatively smart from Chelsea. Hazard is an exceptional player with two years left on his contract. By putting this sort of asking price up it puts the ball into Hazard's court as to whether or not he will force a move. Of course they need to show Hazard they are serious about challenging for the league again.

Bale wants future talks at Real

In The Mail it is reported that despite the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo Gareth Bale still wants to hold talks over his future with new Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui to see where he stands. Manchester United retain an interest in the forward and of course Real could still add Hazard.

Paper Round's view: It would be a hell of a start for Lopetegui if he were to lose Bale and Ronaldo in his first window in charge although perhaps he will feel that it offers him the best chance to mould the team how he wants...

Liverpool Fekir move could be alive again

Moving to The Mirror it is reported that Liverpool could resurrect their move for Lyon forward Nabil Fekir. The World Cup winning forward saw his move to the Reds collapse before the tournament started but if Lyon are willing to restructure the deal Liverpool could go back in for him.

Paper Round's view: Fekir didn't play regularly at the World Cup but when he did he impressed. He would definitely add a lot to Liverpool's attack and if they can make the move happen on their terms it makes a lot of sense.

Fulham to battle Inter for Malcom

And we end with an exclusive from The Sun which says that Fulham are ready to continue their aggressive spending by moving for Bordeaux winger Malcom. Fulham have already signed Jean Michael Seri and want to buy Malcom outright, which could beat Inter Milan who are offering an initial loan move.

Paper Round's view: This would be another really impressive piece of business from Fulham and they are making some intelligent moves that should help them stay in the Premier League next season.
