Trezeguet wants France return
Free agent David Trezeguet is seeking a return to his home country of France after leaving Hercules at the end of last season.
The former France international has not played in his native country since 2000 having spent 10 years at Juventus and last season at Spanish side Hercules, but following their relegation from La Liga he is now without a club and available on a free transfer.
Trezeguet is training with his former side Monaco and claims that family reasons are his motivation behind looking for a return to Ligue 1.
The striker told L'Equipe: ''I made a point with my family about my situation. The conclusion is that it may be time for me to return. Today I want to return to France.
''What is important is to find a club that really matters to me.''
