FULL-TIME

CHELSEA ARE THROUGH TO THE SEMI-FINALS OF THE EUROPA LEAGUE!

Leading 4-1 at the interval, Chelsea looked home and hosed but Sarri's men were disjointed and nervy after the restart and have to settle for a 4-3 victory on the night.

90'+1

Chelsea win a free-kick in a threatening position, but Luiz's effort is equally as disappointing as Stoch's a moment ago.

90'

There will be THREE minutes of added time to play.

89'

BLOCK! It's a hugely disappointing effort. Stoch's shot is blocked by Willian. The Chelsea wall does its job.

82'

The substitute Stoch tries an ambitious shot from distance. It goes miles over the bar.

81'

Chelsea trying to waste as much time as they can. Azpilicueta's cross is blocked and he takes an age with the throw-in.

80'

Slavia have scored 18 goals in their last five away matches in all competitions - they need two more in the last 10 minutes here.

77'

Sevcik, probably Prague's best player on the night, is replaced by Stoch in a slightly strange switch.

  • Emerson Palmieri

Meanwhile, Frankfurt are now leading 2-0 against Benfica, meaning it's 4-4 on aggregate. As it stands, it's the German side that will face Chelsea in the semi-final.

71'

Jorginho will be expected to provide a cool head in midfield. It's quite unbelievable that Chelsea find themselves in such a worrying situation, considering they were 4-1 up and looking dead comfortable at half time.

69'

CHANCE! Sevcik feeds the ball into the feet of Kral but Kovacic makes an important block, deflecting the shot into the arms of Kepa.

68'

They have been too casual in defence, Chelsea. Allowing the opposition midfield players acres of space, at any level, is asking for trouble.

67'

As impressive as Chelsea have been in an attacking sense this evening, you have to wonder what has happened their defence.

64'

GOOD DEFENDING! Hazard centres it from the left flank, Giroud has made a clever run to the near post but Ngadeu-Ngadjiu reacts first to make the interception.

62'
61'

CHANCE! Another warning for Chelsea! Slavia launch a counter attack, the ball is played to the unmarked Sevcik at the far post but he slips at the vital moment!

60'

It goes without saying, but the next goal in this contest is HUGE! There is some anxiety inside Stamford Bridge now. Who could have predicted this at the interval?

58'

Chelsea win a corner - they could really do with another goal now - the goalkeeper fumbles the ball but the referee, rather kindly, awards Prague the free-kick for a Giroud push.

57'

Sarri and Zola look on in disbelief. A shake of the head from the Chelsea boss says it all.

55'

Wakey, wakey Chelsea! They haven't started in the second half. Prague have nothing to lose and they're playing without fear.

For a small man in height Soucek sure is a threat in the air. He meets the corner delivery but can't keep his header down.

47'

Prague have started well, winning a free-kick on the flank. Sevvick's cross is played to the far post but Luiz makes an important block, conceding a corner in the process.

HALF TIME

Chelsea have one foot in the semi-final of the Europa League, leading 4-1 on the night and 5-1 on aggregate.

45'

There will be one minute of added time at the end of a one-sided first half.

44'

Boril overcooks his cross and it's catching practice for Kepa. Chelsea cruising.

42'

BLOCK! Hazard tricks his way into the box from the left and tees up Emerson for a shot. It's deflected by Ngadeu-Ngadjiu but Chelsea have a corner.

41'

Slavia Prague win a free-kick on the left. Soucek dinks one to the far post but it's too far ahead of the fully-stretched Deli.

40'

Meanwhile, Frankfurt are leading Benfica 1-0. It's 4-3 to the Portuguese leaders on the night, but there's a long way to go. Chelsea supporters will be keeping an eye on that match with interest.

38'

Giroud has gone over on his ankle but he will probably be able to run this one off.

37'

Alexandre Lacazette has scored in Napoli to make it 3-0 on aggregate. It's a HUGE away goal for Arsenal.

36'

Nice build up play from the visitors. It's spread wide to Kral whose cross is headed clear by Christensen. Chelsea look very well set up to launch the counter-attack.

  • N'Golo Kanté

31'

To their credit, Slavia Prague haven't given up their pursuit of goals. They are throwing players forward in search of a second and that is leaving them quite open at the back. It would be very surprising if there were no further goals tonight.

30'

Five goals in half-an-hour, it's another goal-fest in Europe. What a week it has been.

25'

KEPA SAVE! The Chelsea goalkeeper is called into action for the first time this evening, saving Deli's bullet header with his left knee!

23'

Mightily impressive from Chelsea so far. Considering this is a team that knocked out Sevilla earlier in the competition, I am surprised by just how poor they have been.

20'

Having told the fourth official to keep his eyes open, Hazard is back in the action.

19'

For the third time tonight already, Hazard is down. It's another collision with Kudela. How has he escaped without a booking? Considering the harsh treatment Hazard is currently receiving, Sarri must be thinking of taking him off, even at this early stage.

18'

Chelsea's movement off the ball has been far too much for Prague to deal with.

  • Olivier Giroud
GoalOlivier GiroudChelseaGOAL! Chelsea 3-0 Sparta Prague Giroud with his 10th goal of the Europa League this season! 16'

DECENT EFFORT! Much better from Prague. Traore with some good work on the flank whips a ball to the back post. Zmrhal tries the first-time volley but it's always bending wide.

14'

Prague enjoying some of the ball, finally. And then Kral centres a ball from out wide and the man of the moment Pedro intercepts.

12'
11'

The facial expressions of the travelling fans say it all. Imagine travelling the whole way from the Czech Republic and seeing your side concede two goals in 10 minutes. They're 3-0 down on aggregate now and need four to win the tie. It's damage-limitation now.

10'

Far too easy for Chelsea. Slavia Prague's gameplan has gone right out of the window.

8'

Chelsea ahead courtesy of Pedro's 10th goal of the season. This is a fine start.

7'

Chelsea launch another attack, this is a bright start. They shift the ball to Hazard on the flank, he drives into the box, sends his marker for a cup of coffee but his cross is blocked by the second defender.

4'

Yes, Hazard is back on. Good news for Chelsea. Great news, in fact.

3'

Dear me, Hazard is back on the floor. He is caught on the achilles this time. It's a nasty foul but hopefully he is going to be fine. He's going off for some treatment.

2'

Hazard is down and wincing in pain. He is caught on the ankle by Kudela but the Belgian is back on his feet and looks OK to continue.

KICK-OFF!

Slavia Prague, with five current Czech Republic internationals in their side, get us underway in London.

19:59

We're almost ready for action at Stamford Bridge, it's Chelsea versus Slavia Prague and it's NEXT!

19:57

Here come the players...

19:53

Sarri has been talking to BT Sport. "Tonight is a very important match. We have to play a very good match if we want to qualify because the opponents are very dangerous. We need to forget the result in the first-leg."

19:50

TEN MINUTE WARNING

A reminder of the line-ups as we approach kick-off...

Chelsea XI: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Christensen, Emerson, Kante, Barkley, Kovacic, Hazard, Pedro, Giroud.

Slavia Prague XI: Kolar, Ngadeu-Ngadjiu, Kudela, Boril, Deli, Zmrhal, Soucek, Traore, Kral, Masopust.

19:45

Chelsea have won 10 of their 11 Europa League matches this season, drawing just once. No English side has ever won 11 major European games in a single season.

19:40

Chelsea won in Prague last week but they didn't have things all their own way. It wasn't a good performance from the Blues, they got fortunate to win the game, and they followed that worrying performance up with a damaging 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

19:35

Slavia Prague XI: Kolar, Ngadeu-Ngadjiu, Kudela, Boril, Deli, Zmrhal, Soucek, Traore, Kral, Masopust. Subs: Kovar, Zeleny, Frydich, Stoch, Olayinka, Van Buren, Skoda.

The visitors are playing without a recognised striker, with winger Lukas Masopust spearheading the attack. Interesting.

19:30

Jindrich Trpisovsky, Slavia Prague boss, has got his wish. Always be careful what you wish for.

"I think currently he's [Hazard] the best player in the world," he said yesterday. "And I'd love him to play tomorrow. Because if he plays tomorrow that means Chelsea take us seriously.

"And if win tomorrow we would beat the best Chelsea, and we would be respected. So we hope the best players will be here tomorrow."

19:25

Olivier Giroud has refused to rule out a move away from Chelsea in the summer, but the Frenchman remains pretty useful for the Blues in Europe's secondary competition, having netted NINE times in the Europa League this campaign.

19:20

EDEN HAZARD STARTS

Not many would have predicted that. It's a sign of how seriously Chelsea are taking this competition now we are in the latter stages - and the respect Sarri has for his opponents, following last week's difficult game. Meanwhile, Andreas Christensen, Ross Barkley, Mateo Kovacic, Pedro and Olivier Giroud come in, with the injured Antonio Rudiger dropping out, while Jorginho, Willian, Callum Hudson-Odoi are on the bench and Ruben Loftus-Cheek misses out altogether.

Chelsea XI: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Christensen, Emerson, Kante, Barkley, Kovacic, Hazard, Pedro, Giroud. Subs: Caballero, Zappacosta, Cahill, Jorginho, Higuain, Hudson-Odoi, Willian.

19:15

Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of the Europa League quarter-final second-leg clash between Chelsea and Slavia Prague.

The Blues gave themselves an advantage in last week's tie in the Czech Republic having snatched a late victory thanks to Marcos Alonso's late goal.

A defeat to Chelsea in Sunday's Premier League followed, a huge blow to their top-four aspirations, and Maurizio Sarri may now eye Europa League glory as the most likely avenue to Champions League football next season.

Can they hold on to their slender lead to set up a semi-final with either Benfica or Eintracht Frankfurt? Time will tell.

Stay tuned for team news. Kick-off is 45 minutes away.
