- End of 2nd Half
FULL-TIME: Wales 3-1 Belgium. WALES ARE INTO THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINALS!
The Welsh fans in Lille are in great voice now! They know that their team has done enough and they are heading to the semi-finals to take on Portugal. One game from the final.
Wales have taken their chances in attack, but they have been magnificent at the back as well. Belgium have thrown everything at them but they only have one goal to show for it!
Just three minutes of added time to be played at the end of the second half.
Belgium are desperately launching the ball forward. But it's not just one goal they need now! They need two! And the minutes are ebbing away from them. Surely Wales have done enough?
- GoalSam VokesWales
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Wales 3 (87 mins - Sam Vokes) Belgium 1. And that should be that! Sensational! Wales are heading into the semi-finals of the European Championships. Vokes gets in front of his marker and sends a wicked header into the Belgian net!
Wow, this is nervous to watch and I'm not even Welsh! Belgium are coming forward in waves. Wave after wave after wave, but the Welsh team are still holding out. Can they see this through?
PENALTY CLAIMS! Now Nainggolan goes down inside the penalty area under the challenge from Williams, but once again the referee waves it away. There was a case for that one.
First Witsel tries to break through. Then Lukaku, then Hazard, then Mertens, who was brought off the bench about 10 minutes ago. This must be a nervous watch if you're a Welshman!
Wales are doing a lot of defending now. Belgium are swinging crosses into the box at every opportunity, and they have players around the edge of the area to pounce on the knockdowns.
- OffHal Robson-KanuWales
- OnSam VokesWales
Wales sub: Hal Robson-Kanu OFF, Sam Vokes ON.
LUKAKU WENT DOWN! The Belgium striker goes down on the edge of the penalty area, with Davies already on a yellow card. But the referee waves away the claims for a freekick.
- OffJoe LedleyWales
- OnAndy KingWales
Wales sub: Joe Ledley OFF, Andy King ON.
Belgium are really pressing now. They are sending cross after cross into the Wales penalty area, but Williams and his defensive teammates are doing well to repel them.
That booking could end up being a huge blow to Wales. That yellow card means hat Ramsey would miss the semi-finals should his team get there. He has been excellent at Euro 2016.
- OffJordan LukakuBelgium
- OnDries MertensBelgium
Belgium sub: Jordan Lukaku OFF, Dries Mertens ON.
- Yellow cardAaron RamseyWales
YELLOW CARD: Aaron Ramsey (Wales)
HOW DID THAT GO WIDE? Alderweireld staged a wonderful cross into the six yard box, with Fellaini leaping higher than Chester. But somehow he managed to send his header wide though!
Belgium are enjoying more of the ball now, but that doesn't mean that they are doing anything with it. The Welsh defence are doing a good job of standing strong and intercepting at the right time.
DE BRUYNE GOT IN BEHIND! For a moment the Welsh defence were caught out, but when the playmaker attempted to make the pass to Lukaku Chester was on hand to cut it out.
The Wales fans are having a whale of a time. See what I did there? No, but seriously, there is a serious level of noise coming from the Welsh fans inside the stadium in Lille.
But the thing about individual brilliance is that it can be produced at any moment. Wales need to be wary of the quality that Belgium have. This match certainly isn't over. Long way to go.
Nope, it's just not happening for Belgium. They are running out of ideas and the introduction of Fellaini hasn't worked. He has robbed his team of mobility in the midfield.
Belgium's best players have faded so quickly in this second half. They started after the restart so well, but Wales have taken a grip and now Hazard, De Bruyne and Lukaku have gone missing.
WILLIAMS OVER THE BAR! Wales' corner kick causes mayhem in the box, with Allen having a shot charged down on the edge of the box before Williams' half volley flies over.
That was simple enough for Hennessey. De Bruyne lined up the freekick from about 25 yards out, but the Wales goalkeeper watched it all the way and gathered it despite the bounce.
Denayer and Lukaku are having real problems with Robson-Kanu. The striker doesn't even have a club at the moment, but he is having the game of his life in the biggest game of his life.
BIG CHANCE FOR WILLIAMS! Courtois flapped at Ramsey's corner kick into the box, with the ball falling at the feet of Williams. But the Belgian keeper recovered to make amends.
Belgium look out of sorts at the moment. They started the second half the better of the two teams, but just like the first half they soon faded and Wales have made the most of that.
- Yellow cardMarouane FellainiBelgium
YELLOW CARD: Marouane Fellaini (Belgium)
Now, Wales need to gather themselves here. They can't get too carried away. They need to keep hold of the ball and calm themselves down. They mustn't lose their heads.
How about that? What an outstanding turn from Robson-Kanu. That is up there as one of the goals of the tournament! He beat three Belgian defenders with that one turn!
- GoalHal Robson-KanuWales
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Wales 2 (56 - Hal Robson-Kanu) Belgium 1. What a sensational goal! The cross came into the box, Robson-Kanu controlled it and beat three defenders with a wonderful turn, finishing calmly past Courtois!
Belgium seem to have been energised by the half-time break. They are so much more dynamic than they were at the end of the first half. Wales are struggling to deal with them right now.
Williams had to get there! Lukaku looked to have drifted in behind the Wales captain as the cross came into the box, but he leaped high enough to get a crucial touch on the ball.
Just as was the case in the first half, Belgium have come out on fire. They're the ones running at their markers, with Wales sitting deep inside their own half to try and ward this off.
FLASHES PAST THE POST! Wales get themselves in a bit of a mess at the back, allowing Hazard to cut inside and shoot at goal. However, his effort flashes past the far post.
DE BRUYNE OVER THE BAR! The Manchester City playmaker cuts inside off the right side and fires off a left-footed shot at goal, but his effort rises over the Wales crossbar. Good try.
BIG LET OFF FOR WALES! Lukaku really should have scored that! Meunier crossed a wicked ball into the box, finding the striker unmarked, but he could only head wide of the target.
On comes Fellaini at the break. That change is surely designed to make sure Belgium can handle Wales from set pieces and corner kicks. He has been brought on for his defensive attributes.
- OffYannick CarrascoBelgium
- OnMarouane FellainiBelgium
Belgium sub: Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco OFF, Marouane Fellaini ON.
The second half is under way in Lille! It's 1-1 between Wales and Belgium in this Euro 2016 quarter-final.
What did you make of the first half? Are Wales now favourites to make the semi-finals? Should Belgium look to shore things up at the back? Has it been too open for them? Tweet me!
HALF-TIME: Wales 1-1 Belgium. What an astonishing half of football in Lille! It all started so poorly for Wales, but they dragged themselves back into the match and levelled the score.
Now Belgium are having a go as this first half winds down. It's Wales now sitting deep, absorbing pressure and hoping to see this into the break at 1-1. The final product has been poor, though.
WILLIAMS HAS ANOTHER CHANCE! The Welsh captain was left unmarked in the centre of the box from a corner kick, but he couldn't get over it and heads over the target.
The noise inside the stadium in Lille sounds deafening! It's coming largely from the Welsh fans at the moment. They are enjoying their night now. It didn't start off too well.
Compare Wales' reaction to falling behind early in this game to England's reaction to falling behind against Iceland. Wales kept their composure, kept their heads. England did not.
Wales are the ones dominating the ball at the moment. Belgium are sitting deep and plugging the gaps, hoping to see out this spell of pressure. Coleman is urging his team forward!
The big difference from Wales in the last 15 minutes is that they're pushing their full-backs further up the pitch. That is giving them an option as they come forward on the attack.
It feels like Wales have the momentum at the moment. As the game moves into the final 10 minutes before he break, it's Coleman's side who are pressing, looking to take the lead.
BALE GOES ON HIS OWN! The Welsh winger looked around for support but went on his own in the end, driving forward before drawing the save out of Courtois with a low drive.
You got the feeling that goal was coming. Wales regained their composure after losing the opener and had started the create some opportunities of their own. They deserve that!
- GoalAshley WilliamsWales
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Wales 1 (30 mins - Ashley Williams) Belgium 1. There's the equaliser! Williams gets a run on the corner kick from Ramsey, powering a header past Courtois in the Belgium goal. It's 1-1 in Lille.
Wales have a goal in them here. As I have said, they have been second best, but Belgium don't look especially strong at the back. Wales can certainly exploit them there.
Lukaku looks a little rash at the back. Robson-Kanu has the beating of him, with the young defender too keen to make the early tackle. That is something Wales should look to exploit.
Allen has been excellent throughout this tournament for Wales, but he is being dominated by Naingolan in the centre of the field tonight. He needs to get a grip of things.
There have been some terrible games at this tournament, but this certainly isn't one of them. Belgium have been the better team, but Wales are attacking with every chance they get.
That should have been the equaliser. Taylor certainly isn't known for being a goalscorer, but he has one in this tournament already and that really should have been his second.
COURTOIS WITH A BIG SAVE! Ramsey found himself with space inside the box, picking out the run of Taylor, but his shot from close range is saved incredibly by the Belgian keeper.
That's three Welsh defenders now on yellow cards. That's not ideal, especially when you have the likes of Hazard and De Bruyne running at you. That could be a problem for Wales.
- Yellow cardChris GunterWales
YELLOW CARD: Chris Gunter (Wales)
Wales have done a good job of regaining some control of this match after the goal. But there is still a sense that Belgium are only taking a breather before launching their next assault.
Wales need to test these Belgian defenders more often, Denayer and Lukaku are inexperienced and they could be got at by the likes of Bale or Ramsey. That is an opportunity.
That was a goal of the tournament contender from Nainggolan. He thundered it home from range. The ball didn't even spin as it left his foot and found the very top corner of the net.
Wales need to regain some composure here. They need to get the likes of Allen and Ramsey on the ball through the centre of the pitch. They need to get Bale running at defenders.
Bale should have continued on his own! He came breaking forward on the counter attack, but he decided to pass and the move broke down. He should have been more selfish!
Wales are hanging on for dear life here. Their defensive line is being pushed and pulled all over the place. Lukaku is doing a great job of playing as the focal point for the Belgians.
- Yellow cardJames ChesterWales
YELLOW CARD: James Chester (Wales)
Belgium have been exceptional in these opening 15 minutes and they are still coming forward! Wilmots' side are pumped up for this one and they are pressing for a second goal!
- GoalRadja NainggolanBelgium
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL Wales 0 Belgium 1 (13 mins - Radja Nainggolan). What a sensational goal! That is a belter! He found the top corner with an arrow of a shot from about 30 yards out. Hennessey didn't stand a chance with that!
INTO THE SIDE NETTING! Bale did his best to drive at the Belgian defence, creating the space for the shot, but it was a tight angle and he can only send his shot into the side nettin!
This has been much better from Wales in the last few minutes. They have got a grip of the match and are now creating some chances of their own. They look to have weathered the storm.
CHANCE FOR ROBSON-KANU! Bale gets his first touch of the ball all night, sends a cross to the back post where Robson-Kanu has peeled away. But he could only head over the bar.
Belgium have started this game on fire! They really should have found the net there. They have three excellent chances in quick succession. I'm not quite sure how they didn't score.
HOW HAVEN'T BELGIUM SCORED! Carrasco is free at the back post, Hennessey makes the save, Hazard has a shot blocked on the line, then Lukaku's effort is deflected over. Wow, wow, wow!
That booking means that if Wales make it through this game Davies will be suspended for the semi-final. He already had a yellow card tonight coming into this match. Unfortunate.
- Yellow cardBen DaviesWales
YELLOW CARD: Ben Davies (Wales)
Belgium will have the majority of the ball tonight, but Wales have proved that they can be stubborn and hit teams on the counter attack. They are really dangerous opponents.
Belgium have started the game on the front foot. A cross was angled into Lukaku inside the area but it was too strong for the striker. Wales are having to dig deep at the back, here.
The first half is under way in Lille! It's Wales against Belgium in the quarter-finals of Euro 2016.
Wales were mightily impressive in their final group game against Russia, winning 3-0. But they could only edge past Northern Ireland with a 1-0 result. Which side will turn up tonight?
There's a semi-final place against Portugal on offer for whoever comes through this match in Lille tonight. That is an enticing opportunity. The route to the final has been plotted.
Pre-match odds: Wales 4/1, Draw 12/5, Belgium 9/10.
This has been called the biggest game in the history of Welsh football. Indeed, they haven't had this kind of opportunity before. A lot of people think they can beat Belgium tonight.
So both Wales and Belgium line up as expected. It looks like Gareth Bale will play in behind Hal Robson-Kanu as the central striker. Belgium are stacked with top-class quality.
