The changes made by Santos in this second half have really had a strong impact on this match. Both Renato and Quaresma have really hurt Hungary since coming. They've made a difference.

However, Hungary still carry plenty threat on the counter attack. Portugal are far from solid at the back and they could still be exploited there. This match isn't over for the Hungarians.
Ronaldo has his swagger back. He has two goals to his name and now he is positioning himself as the central striker at the head of Portugal's attack. He's taking this game upon himself.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Hungary 1 Portugal 1 (43 mins - Nani). There's the equaliser and it's as if a pressure valve has been released! Ronaldo threads through Nani, who takes the shot first time and beats Kiraly at his near post. We're level!
Every so often Hungary look dangerous when they come forward on the counter attack. This time Carvalho falls asleep but Pepe is on hand to make sure Portugal don't concede a second.
PORTUGAL HAVE THE BALL IN THE NET! Ronaldo's cross to the back post finds Pepe, who squares across the box for Carvalho to finish. But the flag was raised for offside, correctly.

This whole freekick thing is getting a little embarrassing for Ronaldo now. Surely it's time someone had a word with him about them? He's wasting opportunities for his team over and over again.
Another atrocious freekick attempt by Ronaldo. He really needs to accept that he's no longer very good at these. This time he smashes one into the stand from about 25 yards out.

Carvalho has been excellent in the centre of the pitch, but there's only so much he can do. His job is to win the ball back and pass it on to a more creative figure. He is not a creator.
Portugal are enjoying plenty of possession, but they are having to break down so many Hungarian players to make it to the penalty area. They are so compact, it makes it difficult to pass.
Of course, England will face the runners-up in this group in the round of 16. As things stand that would be Iceland. Roy Hodgson and his players would surely be happy with that?
RONALDO FREEKICK SAVED! The Portuguese number seven lines up the set piece from the best part of 30 yards, but Kiraly deals with the shot, even after the bounce right in front of him.

This is probably the kind of game that Hungary prepared for. So they shouldn't be too flustered by the way things have done in the opening 20 minutes of this game.
Portugal are doing a really good job of pressing Hungary when they have the ball. Carvalho is a very difficult player to get past. The young midfielder has so much energy.
That seems like a strange decision from Ronaldo. He stood offside before Moutinho's freekick delivery came into the box, tried to make it back onside, but failed. The flag was raised.

Ronaldo is already waving his arms about in frustration at his teammates. It's only 10 minutes into the match but the Portuguese winger already looks to have got himself in a funk.
PEPE NEEDED TO CLEAR! Hungary come forward for the first time in the match, with Dszudzczak swinging an excellent cross into the box, but the defender heads away to deny Szalai.
Portugal actually played well in their last game against Austria. They created more than enough chances to win the game, but Ronaldo endured an off night. Will he fare better tonight?
