Championship relegation contenders Sheffield United have allowed three players to leave the club, including former England goalkeeper Richard Wright.

The shot-stopper, who has two caps, and defender Stephen Jordan have had their contracts terminated by mutual consent.

Meanwhile loanee Jean Calve has returned to parent club AS Nancy-Lorraine

Boss Micky Adams told the club's official site: "I would like to thank them for their efforts here and wish them all well in their future careers in the game."

United are third-bottom in the second tier, seven points from safety with seven games left.

They face second-bottom Preston in their run-in.
