Well, what a sensational turnaround and what a result for United. They looked dead and buried, but somehow they managed to fight back. Fellaini changed the game late on. Mata's goal was excellent. Ronaldo's volley was incredible. It wasn't a vintage match, but there were some vintage moments.

- End of 2nd Half
FULL TIME: Juventus 1-2 Manchester United
- Yellow cardAnthony MartialManchester United
Martial is shown a late yellow card for punting the ball away after a freekick had been awarded.
Rashford should have wrapped it up! Man Utd come flying forward on the counter attack, Martial played Rashford clean through, but Szczesny does enough to deflect over his bar.
- OffJuan CuadradoJuventus
- OnMario MandzukicJuventus
Mandzukic comes on for the final few minutes of stoppage time. He has been warming up the whole second half!
Four minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the match.
- Own-goalLeonardo BonucciJuventus
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Juventus 1 Manchester United 2 (89 mins - Paul Pogba). I'm not sure how it has ended up in the back of the net, but it has! Young's freekick delivery into the box caused mayhem, Szczesny didn't cover himself in glory and it seems that the ball bounced in off Pogba!
Dybala... wide! That's dreadful from the Argentinean. He will expect better of himself. He should have at least tested De Gea in the United goal, but his effort dribbled well wide.
It was a wonderful freekick strike from Mata, that is in no doubt, but could Szczesny have done better with that? The ball wasn't exactly in the far corner. Could he have reached it?
- GoalJuan MataManchester United
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Juventus 1 Manchester United 1 (85 mins - Juan Mata). An exceptional equaliser by Mata! The little Spaniard got his freekick up and over the wall from right on the edge of the Juventus box and now United are level. This could be a huge point for Mourinho's men!
This is a chance for United! Pogba has won a freekick right on the edge of the Juventus penalty area. He put his body in the way and was bundled over. Mata to take it...
- OffMattia De SciglioJuventus
- OnAndrea BarzagliJuventus
On comes Barzagli. Juventus are going to try and see out this 1-0 win for the three points.
Rashford wide! The Man Utd forward decides to go it alone, taking aim from the edge of the Juventus box. He was trying to catch Szczesny by surprise, and almost succeeded. Just wide.
- OffAlexis SánchezManchester United
- OnMarouane FellainiManchester United
The second change sees Fellaini come on. Man Utd are going to go direct in these final 10 minutes.
- OffAnder HerreraManchester United
- OnJuan MataManchester United
A double change for United, with Mata coming on as the first of the two subs.
De Gea was left rooted! Pjanic takes aim from about 20 yards out, cuts across the ball to get some spin on it. It fooled De Gea, but the ball flashes over the crossbar. Not far away.
- Yellow cardPaulo DybalaJuventus
... but he's also shown Dybala a yellow, awarding the freekick to Juventus. Is that a thing that can happen?
- Yellow cardAnder HerreraManchester United
This is a strange one. The referee has stopped play to book Herrera...
Should be two! Ronaldo cut inside, feigned to take the shot himself, played it to Cuadrado who should have found the back of the net. But he leans back and scoops over. Yikes.
What a chance for Pjanic! Cuadrado was onside, had time to pick out a pass inside the box, but from 12 yards out the Bosnian midfielder skews his effort well wide of the target.
Juventus are now playing with real confidence. There's a swagger to their play that was lacking earlier. They look more likely to score the next goal than United to grab an equaliser.
It wasn't quite as good as his overhead kick here last season, but there's still an electricity inside the Allianz Stadium after that sensational Ronaldo goal. One for the highlight reel.
- OffJesse LingardManchester United
- OnMarcus RashfordManchester United
There's the change from Mourinho and it's Rashford on for Lingard. Can he make the difference?
How will Mourinho react to that goal? Man Utd need to do something because as things stand they are in third place in their Champions League group with just two games left to play.
If things were to stay this way, Juventus would go through as group winners, with Man Utd in third place. Ronaldo's goal has changed the game and what a moment it was.
- GoalCristiano RonaldoJuventus
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Juventus 1 (65 mins - Cristiano Ronaldo) Manchester United 0. WHAT A FINISH! Juventus are ahead and it's Ronaldo... who else? Bonucci played the pass over the top and Ronaldo volleys it first time into the back of the net! De Gea stood no chance at all! That's a stunner! Wow.
Will Mourinho make a change soon? And if he does, will he stick or twist? He has Rashford to throw on if he wants to go for all three points. Will he gamble? Or shore things up?
This certainly hasn't been a classic Champions League match so far, but Man Utd will be relatively pleased to level as the hour mark passes. Juventus haven't created *too* much.
- OffSami KhediraJuventus
- OnBlaise MatuidiJuventus
Juventus make their first change and it's Khedira who comes off to be replaced by Matuidi.
Pogba got away with one there. The Frenchman was a little too blase on the ball in his own corner flag, but he wins the throw in off De Sciglio when the damage could have been worse.
Lindelof has been pretty impressive for Man Utd this evening. The Swede has been in good form in recent weeks. This time he makes a clearance at the front post from De Sciglio.
- Yellow cardAlex SandroJuventus
Sandro is eventually booked for his late tackle on Young. The United full back is back on his feet.
Will we see a change from either team soon? Mandzukic has been sent to warm up down the touchline by Allegri. Might the big Croatian give Juventus an extra dimension?
Play is stopped! The Juventus players aren't happy. They were on the attack, but the referee has stopped play as Young is on the ground holding his ankle. He should be fine to continue.
United on the attack! Pogba and Sanchez combine down the right side to get a cross into the Juventus penalty area, but in the end there's nobody in the middle in a blue shirt.
Fantastic defending! That's what Chiellini is so good at. The Italian defender made TWO excellently timed tackles and stops Man Utd in their tracks as they attacked at pace.
Dybala off the crossbar! What an effort that was from the Juventus number 10! Dybala whipped a strike towards goal from just inside the box, but it comes crashing off the woodwork.
Martial... wide! How many times have we seen the French winger curl that kind of finish into the far corner of the net? Szczesny was sprawling, but the effort flashes past the far post.
United need to see more from Pogba in this half. It's not that the Frenchman played poorly, it's just that he has the ability to open up this Juventus backline for the visitors.
This will be a big 45 minutes for Man Utd. They were decent enough in the first half, but struggled to create much in the final third. Can they keep Juve out and score one themselves?
- 2nd Half

- End of 1st Half
HALF TIME: Juventus 0-0 Manchester United. The away side started the half well, but they have faded and now the Italian champions have taken a grip of things. No opening goal yet, though.
Danger! The cross into the box from Pjanic caused something of a scramble, but Herrera puts the clearance over his own bar. He was under pressure from Chiellini there.
Across goal! That was an excellent cross by Ronaldo. It was begging for someone to finish it in the middle, but nobody in a black and white shirt gambled on it. Ronaldo isn't happy.
Martial flips a cross into the box and Szczesny comes out to make the straightforward save. That is desperation from the French winger, who has struggled to get into the game.
United need to find a way to relieve some pressure. They have everyone helping out at the back, but the problem with that is they don't have an outlet on the counter attack.
Pogba away! A freekick spins up to Dybala on the edge of the United box, his volleyed effort is on target, but Pogba is on hand to head away. De Gea would have made the save anyway.
It's starting to feel like Man Utd are hanging on a little bit here. Juventus are cranking things up towards the end of the first half, with the away side camped inside their own half.
Off the post! Juventus are getting closer and closer! Ronaldo got down the right side, cut back a cross for the unmarked Khedira, but the German midfielder scuffs his shot and clips the outside of the post.
What a save! Close to an opening goal for Juventus! Cuadrado was actually looking for a teammate in the middle, but his cross picks up a deflection off Matic. De Gea makes the diving stop at his near post.
Shot on target! Juventus come flying forward on the counter attack after the United freekick, with Khedira getting the shot away on goal. But the effort was straight at De Gea.
United freekick! Herrera won a freekick high up the pitch, but from 20 yards out Sanchez only succeeds in hitting the Juventus wall. Might Young have been the better option to take that?
Just too long! Sanchez was looking to get on the end of a clipped pass from Matic over the top of the Juventus backline, but the ball from the Serbian was just a little too long. Nice idea.
While this has been a compelling opening 30 minutes or so, neither Juventus nor Man Utd have managed to notch a single shot on target so far. Both keepers have been untested.
Mourinho will surely be quite pleased with what he has seen from his team so far. Man Utd look more balanced than they did in the first game against Juventus two weeks ago.
Sanchez is down! The Chilean is down on the turf receiving some treatment. He was injured in a class with Chiellini, but seems to be fine to continue. He's back on his feet now.
Pjanic had time! The ball was rolled back to the Bosnian in the centre. He had time and space to get the shot away on goal, but his effort is blocked by Smalling, who had to get there.
Of course, this is a big week for Manchester United. Not only do they have this game against Juventus tonight, but they have the Manchester derby on Sunday. No big deal.
Sanchez freekick! Man Utd won a set piece high up the left wing for a foul by Cuadrado. Sanchez gets the delivery into the box, but Smalling is pulled up for a foul on Bonucci.
Juventus are seeing more of the ball now, they are dominating possession, but it has to be said that they aren't doing all that much with it. Subdued from the Italians early on.
That was a disappointing delivery from Pjanic. The Juventus cavalry were waiting for the ball to reach them from the freekick, but it didn't even beat Shaw as the first man.
Ronaldo hits one! Juventus' number seven takes aim from about 20 yards out. Man Utd gave him some space, but De Gea was never really troubled as the ball fizzed comfortably by.
This is relatively positive play from Man Utd, but they have lost the attacking verve of the first five minutes or so. When Sanchez gets the ball he is rather isolated up there on his own.
Earlier tonight... Valencia claimed a 3-1 home win over Young Boys. That means the Spaniard have moved ahead of United in this group. They now have five points from four games.
- Yellow cardNemanja MaticManchester United
There's the first booking of the game and it's gone to Matic for a foul on Dybala.
Young was done! The Man Utd captain misjudges the flight of a pass in behind and allows Bentancur to get to the byline. He had time to pick out a pass, but can't find a teammate.
Took a deflection! Bentancur struck that sweetly right on the edge of the Man Utd penalty area, but it's deflected and flashes wide of the far post. De Gea wasn't getting there.
This is what so many Man Utd fans wanted from their team from the start this evening. They are actually taking the game to Juventus in the early minutes. Martial has a lot of space to gallop into.
United have started this game much better than they did in the first game against Juventus a couple weeks ago. They look dangerous on the rapid counter attack. Potent.
United counter attack! Juve gave the ball away straight from a counter, but Lingard's pass through to Martial is poor and Di Sciglio intercepts. The opportunity was there for Man Utd!
Ronaldo shot! Man Utd were looking for a flag as the pass was clipped over the top by Dybala. It never came, but Lindelof gets a block in to deny the Juventus number seven.
That's a waste. Sanchez's pass out to Young on the right side was a clever one, but the cross from the full back was dreadful and the home fans jeer as it flies miles behind the goal.
Man Utd are playing in all blue this evening. Unusual to see them in this colour. Couldn't they have played in their usual red kit given that Juventus are playing in white and black?
It's Juventus on the front foot right from the start, with Pjanic looking for the run of Bentancur at the back post with a cross from deep. It drifts out of play for a United goal kick.
- 1st Half
The match is under way in Turin! It's Juventus against Manchester United in the Champions League!
The Chaaaaaaaaampions! The home fans belt out the final part of the famous anthem. They're up for this.
The two groups of players are in the tunnel, ready to walk out on to the pitch. Lots of handshakes taking place.
Not long until kick off at the Allianz Stadium in Turin now. This should be one of the games of the group stages in the Champions League this season. A heavyweight clash.
Challengers! Juventus are among the favourites to win the Champions League this season. The signing of Ronaldo in the summer has given them an edge they lacked before.
Pogback! The French midfielder is back in Turin this evening having spent four years as a Juventus player. What sort of Pogba will turn up, though? He's been in good form recently.
I'm Graham Ruthven and you can catch me on Twitter ahead of the game to let me know your thoughts. Is there any way Man Utd can pull this off? Will Juve sweep them aside? Tweet me!
Improvement! Of course, Man Utd lost to Juventus 1-0 at Old Trafford two weeks ago. But their form has picked up in the time since then, so can they carry that improvement into this match?
In form! Juventus have still to suffer a defeat this season. They are strolling at the top of Serie A and can call but secure a place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a win tonight.
No Lukaku! Man Utd are still without their Belgian number nine for this game. As was the case against Bournemouth at the weekend, Sanchez has been picked to lead the line tonight.
