And that is the final whistle. Bayern already have the league tied up and Dortmund may well feel the point is enough to secure their hopes of a second place finish. Both teams will be looking for a better result in the Champions League Final that is for sure.

Into the last minute of added time. Dortmund are throwing everything at it. The ball goes long one final time but Van Buyten clears. Dortmund just cant find a way through.

Alaba makes way for Højbjerg

Sahin with another strike from distance but it hits Contento in the stomach and goes out for a corner.

Bayern with some desperrate defending as Scheiber and Reus get in each others way.

Bayern win a free kick and Muller is screaming for it to go long.

Scheiber goes steaming through on goal after Reus breaks from midfield. His touch is heavy and gives Neuer a chance which the German keeper takes to save. Good chance goes begging.

Neuer with the ball and taking his time over everything. Bayern are playing it long and hoping for a mistake. Dortmund look like they've run out of ideas.

It's all going on again. Santana is furious with Muller after the striker tried to win a penalty for a nothing tackle. Up the other end and a rugby tackle from Alaba is the only thing that stops Scheiber getting a run at Van Buyten.

Blaszczykowski makes way for Sven Bender.

Bayern enjoying some of the ball in the Dortmund half at last. Gustavo strides down the left and is brought down by Grosskreutz.

Blaszczykowski rescues the ball on the left wing. He cuts inside and plays a pass to Scheiber but his lay-off to Reus is poor and goes out for a goal kick. Neuer taking his time over this.

Bayern get out of their half after some good work from Muller. He plays the ball to Shaqiri behind him and he passes inside to Tymoschuk who has acres of space in the middle. He lines up a shot but it goes wide and high.

Sahin brings Dortmund forward again. Bayern are allowing their opponents possession until the final third when there is a good press. Sahin asking for some movement but nothing doing.

Poor pass from Can sees Schmelzer drive forward from the left and slip in Scheiber. His left footed strike is scuffed though and trickles harmlessly wide.

Free kick conceded by Can wide on the left. It is swung in by Reus but it goes all the way through to Neuer. More handbags as Boateng and Lewandowski go forehead to foreheard. The referee tells them to calm down and that was the end of that.

Thomas Muller set to come on for Claudio Pizarro. Quiet match for the Peruvian aside from the definite penalty he should have won.

Sahin gives away another free kick and pleads his innocence. He had his foot raised and didn't touch much of the ball. alaba caught offside as Bayern try to build an attack down the left.

Blaszczykowski picks up on a loose ball after Contento loses it. He gets into the penalty area but his cross is blocked for a corner. Bayern then clear.

Bayern are just trying to to take the sting out of this game. They put together three or four passes in midfield before Dortmund press and hassle the ball back.

Club captain Sebastian Kehl is replaced by Marco Reus. If that's not a clear sign Dortmund are going for the win, I don't know what it...

Sahin with an ambitious strike from about 35 yards out. Was never going in as it sailed high and wide of Neuer's goal.

Can with his first involvement is to bust a gut to get down the line as Bayern broke through Shaqiri. His cross is massively overhit and Dortmund get the ball back.

The football has sharpened up. Sahin almost turns into a position to get a shot away in the area but it is just snuffed out by Tymoschuk.

Dortmund have a spring in their step and smell blood as the ten men of Bayern try to attack.

There'll be plenty of added time that's for sure. The ball hasn't been kicked for a good three minutes. Neuer to take the inital free kick given away by Blaszczykowski.

The referee now feels it necessary to have a word with Klopp and a Bayern coach about an altercation on the touchline. In the mean time, Bayern prepare a change as Emre Can comes on for Gomez.

Klopp is now losing it as he doesn't like the way Rafinha conducted himself as he left the pitch.

It is all kicking off. Blaszczykowski gets elbowed by Rafinha and receives a yellow card. Then the referee brandishes a red card to the Brazilian full-back for the nasty and cynical elbow. He shakes his head as he leaves the pitch and says something else to the man he almost maimed.

Pizarro now getting a talking to after he kicks the ball away following a soft foul on Subotic.

Rafinha given a yellow for going straight through the back of Scheiber. He may have got a toe on the ball but only after bringing down the winger.

Chance from the corner. The inswinger from the right finds Santana who gets up well but the free header just goes over the crossbar. Very close.

Lewandowski denied. Wonderful save by Neuer who sprawled down low to his right to push the ball away.

It's taken a minute to sort the Bayern protests.

Penalty Dortmund. Very soft penalty. Sahin strikes the ball and as Boateng tries to block he lifts his arms into the air and the ball appears to hit his hand. Looked more like it hit his shoulder. Lewandowski to take.

Scrappy play on the wing again. Neither team can get the ball on the floor enough to really create anything at the minute. Amazing energy levels to keep this pressing up.

Only some last ditch defending stops Gomez scoring his second. A lovely one-two with Pizarro and it's a race between the lanky German and Subotic to get the ball. The defender just stretches his leg enough to make the tackle before Gomez gets his shot away.

Loose pass from Sahin as he tries to fizz it into Lewandowski on the left wing. The ball flys over his foot and goes out for a throw. Bayern now with the ball but good pressure sets the Pole free. He plays it wide to Scheiber but his cross goes over the crossbar.

Klopp is gesticulating wildly to his players about something or other. Couldn't possibly be about the goal kick they just took.

Lewandowski races clear of Van Buyten but can only win a throw as his touch sends him wide. Blaszczykowski is set free down the right but as he cuts inside, is dispossessed.

Rafinha scuttles down the right wing and crosses but it goes all the way to Alaba onthe opposite wing. Bayern try to play their way into the box but nothing doing.

Dortmund seem to be going long again. Not helping their cause to grab a winner at all. Their pressure was good though and they win a throw on the half way line.

What looked like a clear penalty denied to Bayern. Contento with a lovely chipeed ball to Pizarro who controls beautifully. He cut inside and just as he was about to get his shot away, was tripped by Subotic. No penalty though.

Scrappy period of play there. ABout eight players within 10 yards of eachother. Shaqiri tried to protect the ball but it went out for a throw. Sahin is moaning at the ref again.

Bayern pour forward but a poor switch from Alaba finds only the Dortmund touchline ont he opposite side.

Both teams are pressing high early in this second half. Dortmund have a throw deep in Bayern's half. A mis-hit shot almost finds Lewandowski at the far post but the Pole couldn't reach the ball.

The teams are back out. Dortmund will be kicking us off for what promises to be a whirlwind second half.

And that is half time at Signal Iduna Park. Dortmund have had the better chances but it is Bayern who have dominated the play. The rivals go in at half time deadlocked at 1-1.

One minute of added time as Shaqiri whips it in to the near post. It is cleared and Dortmund break. Boateng cynically brings down Scheiber and is booked for the trouble.

Leitner gives away a silly free kick on the edge of the area out wide right. Shaqiri stands over it with his wand of a left foot set to take.

Lovely turn from Alaba to make some space for himself in midfield. He spins and puts in Gomez who ducks inside Santana to get his shot away. Weidenfeller is equal to it and sticks a leg out to send it for a corner.

Alaba takes it Ronaldo-style but his effort goes high into the stand. Really poor set piece.

Loose control from Pizarro allows Dortmund possession but they make a hash of it and Gomez wins the second ball. The ball goes up in the air about 40 yards out and Sahin gives away a free-kick. Bayern look like they're going to shoot.

Blaszczykowski pressures Contento high up the pitch but he wins the throw. Boateng attempts to play the ball forward but Santana steps in and Borussia are now on the attack.

Free kick in a dangerous position just outside the area. Lewandowski stands over it but Sahin takes. It goes harmlessly over the bar. Wasted opportunity.

Every Dortmund player seems to have a Bayern shadow. Gustavo gets too close to Schmelzer as he dribbled with the ball and received a yellow card for scything down the full back.

Scheiber with a lovely flick inside but Blaszczykowski loses it as he tries to turn. Tymoshuck is then fouled by the pacey Pole.

Alaba and COntento combine wonderfully down the left but the latter's cross is inaccurate and cut out. Almost to type, Dortmund give the ball away easily.

Dortmund seem to be going long far too early and not playing anywhere near the standard we all know they can play at. Bayern are comfortable.

Contento plays it to Pizarro who pushes Alaba a bit wider than he'd wanted. He gets the cross in but Subotic's clearance finds the Bayern back four again.

Tymoschuk is flattened by Santana who slips a ball through to Lewandowski. Neuer is alert and off his line sharpish to clear. Tymoschuk now receiving some sympathy from the ref.

Contento concedes a free kick deep in Dortmund territory for a high boot. Seemed an inconspicuous one but DOrtmund will take it. High pressure again means the home side are forced to go long.

A loose pass from Gustavo in midfield puts Rafinha in trouble but he retains possession as Bayern have done so well since DOrtmund's opener.

Rafinha injects some pace into the Bayern attack but he loses it to a slip. Lewandowski races into the penalty area having danced past Van Buyten and Boateng but his shot is saved low by Neuer.

Rafinha races down the right and passes to Shaqiri on the touchline. He is tackled and Bayern have a throw. That is messed up between the two of them and Schmelzer takes a throw for Dortmund.

Subotic brings the ball forward to Leitner. They're just enjoying having the ball again. Grosskreutz is rushed on the ball and his poor pass gifts possession back.

Dortmund put together a few passes but a long ball gives the ball back to Bayern who are starting to dominate the ball.

The visitors have had the ball most of the time since their goal but aren't doing much with it. Dortmund are back and organised. Gustavo with some space plays the ball right to Rafinha who crosses first time. The ball finds Gomez but it goes over the bar.

The ball is worked out to Rafinha who gives it to Shaqiri. The ball is lost to Kehl but Bayern get it back.

Dortmund keep the pressure on the Bayern defence despite never really doing much more than putting the ball back in the box. Lewandowski ends up being flagged offside.

Bayern back on the front foot with Alaba but he loses it and Blaszczykowski tries to take on Boateng. He manages to win a corner for his team.

GOMEZ with the equaliser. wonderful header. He started the move with some good hold-up play before giving the ball wide to Rafinha. Gomez floated into the box and the cross was put on his head at the far post. He headed across Weidenfeller and it went in off the post.

Blaszczykowski getting more and more involved as he crosses for Lewandowski but it goes too long and Schmelzer collects. His cross is half cleared but Rafinha mops up.

Boateng opts to go long again and Gomez chases but a long straight pass like that was always going to end up with the goalkeeper.

Bayern having a lot of the ball without actually going anywhere. Alaba plays the ball inside from the left but Sahin does enough to put off Gomez and the ball ends up with Weidenfeller in goal.

Boateng brings the ball out of defence to Contento but he loses the ball as he tries to dribble inside. Boateng wins the loose ball back for Bayern.

Great football from Kehl and Lewandowski to get the ball out from their own penalty area but the final ball only finds Van Buyten when Grosskreutz was steaming down the right wing into acres of space.

Boateng wins a free kick off Lewandowski. He goes dwon clutching his face but the contact was accidental. Not too sure how he's managed to get that hurt.

Bayern come forward through Boateng on the left. He tries to clip a ball into GOmez up front but it is too long and Weidenfeller collects with ease.

Lewandowski tries to latch on to a long ball and as he gets the ball down Van Buyten manages to get back at him and clear for a corner.

Gundogan is coming off for Leitner already. Must have picked up an injury int hat collision with Contento.

Dortmund with some fantastic football. The ball on the right is flicked inside to Gundogan who plays a one two with Lwandwoski. He strides into the area but after the slightest bit of contact flings himself to the ground and Neuer collects. No penalty.

Bayern look rattled as Boateng gives away another free kick. Lewandowski chases the ball into the corner and saves the ball going out for a goal kick.

Fantastic goal from Gorsskreutz. Dortmund play the ball long down the left and it is controlled by Scheiber who runs into the area and crosses to the far post where the rangy defender stretches out a leg and pokes the ball into the roof of the net.

Tymoschuk is given a yellow after scything down Lewandowski on the half way line. Looks like Bayern are going to play rough with the star striker with a view to the Champions League final.

Shaqiri is released down the right. He cuts inside into the penalty area onto his stronger left foot but the shot is blocked.

The Bayern fans are going crazy. Making all the noise at the moment. Lewandowski breaks though and worryingly holds his hamstring.

Bayern with a sweeping move as Rafinha switches to Contento. The ball gets back to Rafinha via Shaqiri in midfield but the cross is poor.

Neither side rather uncharacteristaically can get any fluency to their play. First Contento and then Grosskreutz give the ball away cheaply.

Delay in play as the referee sorts out an injury issue with Lahm. Dortmund eventually take the throw and start play again.

Foul by Boateng ion Lewandoski as the Pole turns. The centre back came straight into the back of him and Dortmund now with the ball.

Bayern have the ball back and play it along the back four. Gustavo collects in midfield and gets them on their way.

And we're underway here. Dortmund with the ball in their own half. Bayern sitting back and soaking up the pressure at the moment.

Just a few minutes more until kick off. The teams are out and ready.

Atmosphere is electric at Signal Iduna Park. The managers may be using this game to roatate their squads but the fans are as passionate as ever. Really looking forward to this one. Both sets of players will be looking to impress to get a chance in the Champions League final.

Despite that, of course, this game is our European Match of the Weekend, and a chance to see what German football is all about. If you've not read our feature-length preview,

Perhaps not surprisingly, then, both sides have rested players. For Bayern the likes of Ribery and Robben don't even make the trip, while Mueller and Martinez are benched. For Borussia Dortmund there's no sign of Bayern-bound Mario Goetze, while Reus, Hummels and Bender are all subs only.
