Neither of the German marque's cars suffered any problems at all in 80 and 77 laps in France.

The IMSA Performance Matmut car driven by Patrick Pilet was fastest with a best lap of four minutes 0.172 seconds, but his car will not be allowed to compete

"The car is very well balanced following a day that allowed us to work on setups. It is quite rare to get an opportunity to do so much running at Circuit de la Sarthe," said Pilet, adding that Porsche are trying to find a place for him in the race somehow.

"There were no problems today," said Pilet's team boss Franck Rava. "We will continue to work hard over the next fifteen days so that we arrive at Le Mans on top of our game."
