Selby bounced out by Bond at UK PTC2

Bond, who earlier ended Steve Davis's hopes, won 4-2 to move into the fifth round where he continued his good form to beat Yu De Lu 2-4.

The world number 47 next faces Mark Williams for a place in the quarter-finals at the South West Snooker Academy.

Williams, the world number three, saw off the challenge of Marco Fu in the fifth round, winning 4-1.

Stephen Maguire, who beat Ali Carter in the fourth round, will join him in round six after a 4-1 win over Paul Davison.

Maguire is scheduled to meet Shaun Murphy, who accounted for Cao Yupeng 4-3 to book his spot in the next round.

Veteran Jimmy White was tossed onto the scrapheap by a 4-1 win for Alan McManus, who now plays Pankaj Advani, after his 4-3 win over Ian Burns.

And completing this half of the draw, Joe Perry will play Michael White after respective victories over Liu Chuang and Jamie Burnett.
