Home to the City of Coventry Stadium which will host Olympic football during the Games, the Midlands city will also be one of the 22 Live Sites around the country with a big screen showing all the action.
The screen is embedded into the side of the Coventry Transport Museum in Millennium Place, creating a spacious and open Live Site where fans can congregate and create a special atmosphere.
In the lead-up to the Games Coventry has been busy testing out its facility, holding a '100 Days To Go' event in April which included an urban freestyle show and also getting into the spirit of support with Wimbledon being beamed live.
The Live Site won't just be a place for watching though, as participation will be the order of the day too. The area will feature 'have a go' sporting sessions on various days during the Games, with an emphasis on the eight days on which Olympic football is taking place in the city. Live action from the Games will be displayed every day.
