Ski cross wins for David and Kraus
France's Ophelie David and the Czech Republic's Tomas Kraus were the winners as organisers finally defied the weather to stage the ski cross World Cup in Grasgehren.
David won the women's event - ahead of Germany's Christina Manhard and French team-mate Marielle Berger Sabbatel - while Kraus edged the men's competition ahead of Canada's Tristian Tafel and Sweden's Victor Oehling Norberg. In the women's event Great Britain's Pam Thorburn and Emily Sarsfield were 25th and 29th respectively after a frustrating weekend of weather delays. At the moguls World Cup in Deer Valley, Olympic gold medallist Hannah Kearney claimed a victory to close the gap on overall leader, Justine Dufour-Lapointe, who took second. Canada's Alex Bilodeau, the men's Olympic champion in Vancouver three years ago, won his event ahead of USA's Patrick Deneen and Bradley Wilson.
