Newcastle defender Fabricio Coloccini
has been recalled by Argentina for the August 15 friendly against Germany after a three-year absence from the international scene.
The 30-year-old centre-back was included in Alejandro Sabella's 18-man list of overseas-based players, which also featured Barcelona's Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi, Manchester City's Sergio Aguero and Paris Saint-Germain's Ezequiel Lavezzi, the Argentine FA confirmed on their website.
Sabella will add players from the Argentine league to his group later this week for the Frankfurt encounter, which will be Argentina's final friendly before their World Cup qualifier against Paraguay on September 7.
