SLOVENIA CHANGE: Bezjak off, Repas on.
Replays showing an earlier shout for a free kick on the edge of the box for Sterling after he jinked towards the box. It was clumsy from the defender... England unlucky.

Rashford causes problems on the left once more. He finds Sterling, who sees his shot blocked before Kane flashes the follow-up just pas the far post.
VIDEO: Rashford's chance.
This is better from England. Kane turns and has a pop from distance that flies harmlessly over the bar.
CLOSE! A cross from the left falls for Sterling who sees his low, goal-bound drive blocked on the line by Cesar.
Rashford probably should have driven that shot rather than going for the cute finish. At least it's got the crowd interested again.

ENGLAND CHANGE: Lingard on for the Ox.
England break from a Slovenia corner. Sterling leads the charge and lays it into the path of Rashford who goes for the lob over the advancing keeper but sees it hacked clear inside the six-yard box.
Henderson's dangerous cross finds its way through to Kane who can't react in time, and can only watch as it bobbles away after flicking off his knee.
England far to casual. Walker guilty this time and Slovenia almost punish the hosts through Birsa.
Bertrand and Rashford not on the same wave length as another attack breaks down before it even got going. Southgate claps to try and reassure his players, but he needs to change something here.
The mood inside Wembley...

SLOVENIA CHANGE: Birsa on for Sporar.
England with lots of possession, but in the end they head back towards their own half. The crowd aren't impressed.
Fair to say that Slovenia have handled red-hot Harry so far. Kane has barely been involved. He could do with a strike partner.
Still very low key on that pitch. Hard to believe WC qualification can be achieved on this evidence...
- Yellow cardRajko RotmanSlovenia
Rotman booked for hacking the back of Sterling's legs as the Man City man looked to surge up a gear.
Rashford looks to provide it with a burst to the left byline, but his cross ricochets through a defender's legs and is hacked away by Mevlja.
Slovenia the better side in the fledgling moments of this half. England need a lift here.
Bojan Jokic ghosts in at the far post to meet Ilicic's whipped cross but his low header is held at the second attempt by Hart.
England still sticking with the three behind Kane. Surely Southgate should be more bold?

It's looking like a goalless first 45. As it stands, England will qualify tonight given that Slovakia and Scotland are also drawing.
Good battling from the Ox after his initial pass was quite poor. He almost gets in via a one-two but can't quite wriggle free to engineer the shot.
Cahill runs to the near post to try and meet Rashford's dangerous left-wing corner, but Sporar beats him to it. A much better delivery from the set piece. They've been a real let down for the Three Lions so far tonight.
DID YOU KNOW? Slovenia have been beaten in just two of their last 11 games in all competitions, winning five and drawing four.
Same thing went through my mind...
Khrin booked for yet another foul.
Sterling finds space on the left flank but his floated cross lacks any conviction and Oblak easily snatches it out of the air under no pressure at all.
Walker was a surprise choice and while his effort isn't too far over, it was never going to test Oblak.

Krhin charges into a silly tackle on Sterling and England have another free kick. This time it's 25 yards out. Walker over it...
STAT: England have lost just one of their last 18 matches at home.
Rashford moves central and runs towards the area. He lets fly from distance but sees his attempt loop up off a defender and away from the danger zone.
Rashford continues to grow as a key player for his country. He teases the full back once more, but sees his driven cross well blocked in the end. The United man is the go-to player to make things happen it seems.
Sporar beats Dier to Rashford's resulting corner and the away side hold firm once more.
Henderson bursts into space on the left of the box but sees his low shot towards the far corner pushed behind by Oblak.

The crowd respond as Rashford drives at his man. The Man United starlet breaks into the box, but this time Struna sticks to his task and denies the forward a shot at goal.
Incidentally, Kane is England's top scorer under Gareth Southgate with five goals; more than twice as many as any of his team-mates.
Kane desperate to mark the occasion with a goal. Ahead of the contest, he spoke about how special tonight would be for him: "Growing up as a kid you always want to play for your country and dream about being captain, especially walking out at Wembley. That will be an amazing thing for me personally,"
At the other end, Kane turns sharply to earn himself a yard of space and wastes little time firing in a low 25-yard drive that Oblak is down well to stop.
That was a good spell for Slovenia. They had looked like putting 10 men behind the ball but know they need to be more adventurous if they are to keep their dream of claiming the play-off berth alive.
The corner is cleared, but Slovenia come again. Ilicic surges to the right byline and fizzes a volleyed cross into the area that fails to find a teammate.
STAT: Only Germany - who have conceded two - have let in fewer goals in European World Cup qualification than England, who have let in three.
Josip Ilicic makes a clever dart to the right of the penalty area and is rewarded with a corner as Hart came to block. Replays showing the keeper didn't get the ball and appeared to catch the forward's heel. Let off for England?
HEAD-TO-HEAD: England have won four of their five meetings with Slovenia, though they did draw the most recent clash 0-0 in Ljubljana 12 months ago. The Three Lions have won both of the previous showdowns at Wembley; 2-1 in 2009 and 3-1 three years ago.
A succession of England corners fail to reap rewards. The hosts have not yet found the final ball, but continue to dominate.

KICK OFF! England get us underway at Wembley.
Not long until kick off. Why not pass the time by taking our higher or lower quiz...
Kane notched 13 goals in eight games for club and country in September and he's eager to continue that type of devastating form over a sustained period. He said: "You look at someone like Cristiano Ronaldo, who is getting to the age now where people think he should be slowing down, but if anything he is picking up. Look at his physical condition. I want to maintain my performance over a long period of time."
"There is no real secret to him - and that is the brilliance of Harry…It is not dazzling skills... he is just one of the best out there.”
No doubt who Slovenia are fearing tonight. "Kane is in an extraordinary form. It will certainly be a tough battle with him, but we should not forget other players who are also very good," said the visitors' captain Bostjan Cesar.
VIDEO: Sterling’s sizzler leaves Hart howling.
The former marksman who is fifth on England's all-time topscorer list has had his say on Southgate's first XI. However, many observers are questioning the Ox's inclusion and debating if Joe Hart should be between the sticks.
England are expected to deploy a 4-2-3-1 system with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling supporting captain Harry Kane in attack. Southgate has made three changes from the side that won in Malta with Rashford, John Stones and Eric Dier coming in. Dele Alli serves a one-match ban for his middle-finger gesture in September's win over Slovakia.
ENGLAND: Hart, Walker, Bertrand, Stones, Cahill, Henderson, Dier, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sterling, Rashford, Kane. /// SLOVENIA: Oblak, Struna, Mevlja, Cesar, Jokic, Rotman, Krhin, Bezjak, Ilicic, Verbic, Sporar.
Hello and welcome to LIVE updates of England’s Group F clash with Slovenia at Wembley. Gareth Southgate’s men can book their place in next summer’s World Cup with a victory tonight – and could even afford to draw if Slovakia fail to pick up three points in Scotland. It’s not been the most exciting qualifying pool, but the Three Lions won’t care if they get the job done in front of their home crowd. Kick off 19:45 BST.
