Naysmith completes Aberdeen move

Aberdeen have signed former Scotland left-back Gary Naysmith.

The 33-year-old follows Nial McGinn and Jonny Hayes in joining the Pittodrie club this summer.

Naysmith, who has 46 international caps, will go into the squad for the SPL opener against Celtic on Saturday.

Naysmith began his career at Hearts and has been in England for 12 years with Everton, Sheffield United and Huddersfield.
