A Milan supporters’ group recently filed a lawsuit against the Rossoneri as they felt they were made to buy a season ticket under the false promise that Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva would remain at the club.

Milan have subsequently decided to refund those who wish to terminate their season-ticket privileges.

"Milan have confirmed our readiness to dissolve agreements for season tickets for the first team's home games for 2012-13, under conditions specified and inside a specific time period," a statement on the club's website read.

"Milan firmly reiterate that this willingness is dictated by the need for class and affection of the club towards its supporters, and independent of any legal analysis. Milan believe that the (lawsuit filed) is without foundation."

Milan have also released veteran players such as Filippo InzaghiClarence SeedorfAlessandro Nesta and Gennaro Gattuso in a major summer overhaul.
