Forlan set to leave Inter
Diego Forlan is ready to call time on his Internazionale career.
The Uruguay forward has confirmed he is keen to move closer to home with a switch to a South American club a likely destination.
“After playing around the world for the last 14 years, I will be happy to play in a country which is close to my homeland of Uruguay,” said Forlan.
Forlan replaced Samuel Eto'o last summer, but has toiled for goals in Serie A, scoring just two in 18 games.
Inter are expected to release him in the next week.
