Inler's Napoli move in doubt

Udinese midfielder Gokhan Inler's proposed move to Napoli has hit a stumbling block regarding personal terms. A fee of around £17.8 million has been agreed between the clubs, but the Swiss international has yet to agree on the details of his contract with the Neopolitans.

Talking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Udinese manager Fabrizio Larini said of the situation: "It is a situation that regards Inler and Napoli as an agreement has already been reached between the two clubs,"

"The deal will only go ahead if the three parties are in agreement.

"The player has yet to agree personal terms and I think that could soon happen."

Larini has not ruled out the possibility that Inler could stay, although the delay in proceedings may have alerted other interested parties such as Juventus and Manchester City.

"We believe the player is happy in Udine so we don't exclude anything," Larini added.
