Highlights

90+5'

Full-time for Burnley and after a terrific performance they go sixth in the Premier League.

Terrible from Everton and Koeman is walking a tight rope...

90+2'

Cross in and it's headed by Williams and then for the second time it appears to come off Lowton's hand.

However replays show it actually came off his chest.

Another good decision.

90+1'

There will be four minutes of added time.

88'

Barnes is on to replace goal-scorer Hendrick for the final few minutes.

87'

This time the shot comes in from Calvert-Lewin after being played in by Sigurdsson and it's easy for Pope.

85'

From the corner Sigurdsson finds Davies and the youngster tries to curl an effort into the far corner. It's on target but headed over by Wood.

84'

A cross is played in and Rooney is determined it's a penalty.

He's also wrong, there's no chance the defender can get his hand out of the way after Rooney flicks it on.

83'

Now Rooney fires over. Everton are being frustrated by a well organised Burnley side.

82'

Final change and it's Sandro who replaces Niasse.

81'

Another shot from Gueye, and again it's off-target. The fans are really unhappy now. Expect boos at full-time if this doesn't change.

79'

Rooney threads the ball through to Sigurdsson, who managed to finds Davies.

The youngster is in a very confined space on the right and his cross comes off Mee and back onto him so it will be a goal-kick.

77'

Everton continue to try and find something but they're not being helped by the fans.

Every time they go backwards, even if they need to, the fans unleash a series of groans.

Burnley standing firm, for now.

74'

Everton have the ball outside the box and it's slipped through to Rooney.

His shot is deflected behind for a corner that Rooney takes and it's cleared.

71'

It's headed away and Arfield picks it up. He does well to get past Niasse but the striker trips up the Burnley man and it's a free-kick.

70'

Hendrick skips past Williams and tries to stay on his feet but he gets crowded out and the referee pulls it back for a free-kick.

69'

Good ball in from Martina that ends with Calvert-Lewin heading narrowly wide.

Vlasic comes off and Davies come on.

Still Lookman sits on the bench...

67'

After getting tackled Brady gets back up to receive the ball on the wide left.

He sends in a cross but Pickford does well to parry and it comes off the Burnley man for a goal-kick.

66'

Niasse runs at the Burnley defence but gets crowded out.

64'

Another effort from Sigurdsson and this time it goes way over.

He's struggled today.

63'

The ball is worked wide to Baines, he puts in a better cross but Niasse heads wide.

And here comes Rooney, Schneiderlin comes off.

62'

There has been a marked change in approach from Everton. They've definitely gone a bit more direct.

60'

A massive Pickford kick sends Niasse away. Pope comes out to head away but cleans out Defour in the process.

Defour is down and in some pain but that was the right decision from Pope.

Baines goes into the book as he hacks down Brady from behind.

58'

Niasse is working really hard and he should win a corner when he knocks the ball off Mee but the referee and his assistants don't spot it.

It would be harsh if he came off for Rooney.

54'

Another spell of Everton possession breaks down.

This time it's due to Baines as he gets space on the left, gets his head up, and then wildly overhits his cross.

53'

Pictures of Rooney warming up. Can he make the difference for Everton?

51'

A Burnley move breaks down when Lowton's cross is very easily cleared.

Another chance for Gueye on the edge of the area and again it's off-target.

48'

Not much to report in this second-hald. Everton having most of the ball but they're still trying too hard to force passes.

46'

Welcome back.

We have restarted and there are no changes to tell you about.

45'

A Burnley corner comes to nothing and after one minute of added time we've reached the half-way stage.

44'

Incidentally that all came about by a poor clearance from Williams, he hasn't started well.

  • Scott Arfield
Yellow cardScott ArfieldBurnleyAnother yellow as Arfield is booked for simulation. I think that's a poor decision, it's not a penalty, as Arfield goes down in the box under pressure from Williams, but it's also not a dive.

We've got our first yellow of the afternoon as Defour expresses his displeasure towards the referee that a free-kick wasn't given for Niasse's foul on Tarkowski.

37'

A free-kick is fired into the Everton box and Wood battles well to win the header. Unfortunately his flick is straight at Pickford.

34'

Everton pressure continues but still nothing to show for it. A couple of corners but Burnley are dealing relatively well with it.

Something is going to have to change. Lookman? Rooney?

30'

Everton have a spell of possession that ends with Gueye taking a first-time shot from the edge of the area but it goes wide.

28'

Great work from Chris Wood as he pressures Williams into giving away a corner.

It comes to nothing as Everton clear.

26'

Clear signs of discontent at Goodison Park.

I think the official level of pressure now on Koeman can be classified as 'intense'

24'

Frustration for Vlasic as he chases down a loose ball and thinks he's kept it in.

However the assistant disagrees.

GOAL! EVERTON 0-1 BURNLEY (HENDRICK)

Great goal from Burnley!

Ward sees a cross blocked. It comes to Arfield, he sends it back to down Ward and he squares it to Hendrick.

The midfielder sells the defender with a dummy and then slots home, lovely finish.

19'

More pressure from Everton but the ball goes behind and the corner comes to nothing.

16'

As I say that great chance for Sigurdsson as he's fed by Niasse but he can't get the ball out of his feet and it's cleared.

15'

After a few good chances for Everton Burnley have started to come back into it.

13'

The ball is eventually worked out to Lowton.

He fizzes a cross in which is deflected away by Pickford.

12'

Pope pings the ball out to Arfield and he charges at the Everton defence. However the pass goes in-between two players. Brady picks it up and sees a shot blocked.

11'

Tarkowski makes a brilliant challenge in his own box to stop Niasse.

The Everton fans are furious and want a penalty that is a terrific tackle.

9'

Another chance for Niasse as he lifts the ball over Pope but Burnley clear.

From the corner it goes wide but when it comes back in Schneiderlin's header is deflected behind.

6'

CHANCE!

Everton break with Calvert-lewin and Vlasic takes over.

He passes it to Sigurdsson but his side-footed effort is saved by Pope. A poor effort given his quality.

4'

Niasse has the first shot of the game that's held by Pope before Burnley go up down the other end and send in a dangerous cross.

It's put behind but the corner comes to nothing.

2'

Quiet start to the game, both on and off the pitch.

The crowd at Goodison clearly isn't in love with Koeman's team so far this sesaon.

1'

And we're underway.

The teams are on their way out of the tunnel.

Who are you backing for this one?

Koeman is a man under pressure and he's spoken about how his team have got to put things right.

They've had a tough start to the season in terms of fixtures but they have to start winning these sorts of matches.

If they do they'll be up to eighth...

Ronald Koeman, Manager of Everton reacts during the UEFA Europa League group E match between Everton FC and Apollon Limassol at Goodison Park on September 28, 2017 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Oumar Niasse, last week's two-goal hero, can't play in the Europa League as he wasn't registered but he starts today.

Here Koeman explaining why he starts over Rooney.

"Niasse is giving us more aggression, maybe he is the player not struggling at the moment,

"It gives freshness to the team that played on Thursday.

"I spoke with Wayne about this yesterday and he took it really good. He is not happy – everybody wants to start – but it’s not about the XI it is about the squad."

Big day for Nikola Vlasic as he comes into the starting XI

He changed the game when he came off the bench on Thursday and thoroughly deserves his start.

He and Calvert-Lewin together should be an exciting prospect.

Everton's Croatian striker Nikola Vlasic celebrates scoring the team's second goal during the UEFA Europa League Group stage match between Everton and Apollon Limassol at Goodison Park, in Liverpool on September 28, 2017.

HELLO, IT'S ME AGAIN

This game sees Michael Keane play against his former club. Keane hasn't set the world alight but he's been decent so far since moving for a fee that could rise to £30 million. Here's what Dyche had to say about it.

"It will be like facing anyone, he's just another player who has come through us,

"Very good player, very good person as well, like him a lot and I think he's going to continue to improve.

"But there will be no overthinking it. I'll say hello before the game, get on with the game and hopefully see him afterwards."

Michael Keane celebrates his opening goal

Pope, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Ward, Arfield, Cork, Hendrick, Defour, Brady, Wood

Sean Dyche isn't one to make regular changes and he keeps the same team from the 0-0 draw at home to Huddersfield last week.

Pickford, Martina, Keane, Williams, Baines, Vlasic, Schneiderlin, Gueye, Sigurdsson, Calvert-Lewin, Niasse

So Ronald Koeman drops Kenny, Sandro, Rooney, Davies and Holgate from the mid-week draw with Apollon Limassol.

Martina, Keane, Vlasic, Calvert-Lewin and Niasse all come in.

Good afternoon and welcome to live coverage of the Premier League match between Everton and Burnley at Goodison Park.

Team news is on the way.
