Belhanda to stay at Montpellier
Montpellier midfielder Younes Belhanda has confirmed he plans to stay at the Ligue 1 champions for the coming season.
The Moroccan has been linked with a move away from the club after playing his part in their unlikely title success, having scored 12 league goals and set up another four.
However, the 22-year-old used his Twitter account to pledge his immediate future to the club, stating their upcoming Champions League campaign as a vital factor in his decision.
"I wanted to share with you my choice to continue the adventure with my friends at MHSC this season," he said.
"I really want to play Champions League club with my coach and I am very happy to defend our colours this year."
Belhanda's current contract is set to expire in June 2014.
