That's full time. A comfortable win for Arsenal, with only brief - if utterly avoidable - jitters. That's two wins in Group H, and they should progress to the knockout rounds.
There will be two minutes of added time.
- OffJoe WillockArsenal
- OnEdward NketiahArsenal
Willock off, Nketiah on.
Ivanic catches Giroud in midfield, and he goes down, tripped. Yellow for Ivanic, some time bought for Arsenal.
Mustafi sticks out a leg to concede a corner on the left wing. Nothing from it.
- OffAleksandr VolodkoBATE Borisov
- OnDmitri BagaBATE Borisov
Baga saunters on for BATE.
The mood in the pitch has deadened a tad now, and Arsenal seem a little more confident about their play. Maitland-Niles finds McGuane to his right, who slips in Walcott, and he drags a rushed shot wide of the goal.
Giroud spots the 'keeper off the line, and lifts an effort over the bar that fails to dip in time.
- OffReiss NelsonArsenal
- OnMarcus McGuaneArsenal
McGuane is on for Nelson.
McGuane is set to come on.
Giroud makes space for himself for a shot on the left, but he fouled his man in the process, and his shot is straight at the 'keeper.
BATE win a free kick on the left wing.
The ball is worked to Volodko, running to the edge of the box, but he fires wide. Arsenal are jittery. Seven goals conceded from four away games.
- GoalMikhail GordeychukBATE Borisov
GOAL! BATE 2-4 Arsenal. Gordeichuk scores - A cross from the left comes to Holding who fails to deal with it, it's played on to Gordeichuk, and Mertesacker can't react quicky enough before he stabs home.
Milunovic is booked for catching Walcott's heels from behind on the right wing.
Rios is the player to finally make a shot tell from the edge of the box, and it's from 35-40 yards out, on a tight angle, and wide.
Nothing against the Arsenal account in particular, but the language that football clubs and Formula 1 accounts use is bafflingly infantile.
Giroud is caught in midfield, perhaps on the ankle or maybe foot, but he's able to limp away.
Ospina palms away a free kick that was whipped in from the left wing.
- OffVitali RodionovBATE Borisov
- OnNikolai SignevichBATE Borisov
Mustafi is back to cover for a cross on the left, and that's a corner. Signevich comes on for Rodionov.
Here are some financial stats for Arsenal, now that the game is over.
Arsenal can just do laps from here.
GOAL! BATE 1-4 Arsenal. Giroud scores - From the spot, Giroud sends a well-struck low shot to his left, with the keeper going the other way.
PENALTY! Walcott sends in a cross from a free kick, and Dragun is penalised for holding Musstafi's shirt. It's a soft one, certainly.

We go again.
- End of 1st Half
That's half time. Arsenal are cruising, and unless something remarkable happens, Wenger shoud be able to give some of his younger players some first-team experience in the second half.
There will be just one minute's added time.
Walcott's volley seems set to find the bottom corner, but Scherbitski's brilliant save sends it wide for a corner. From the corner, Holding almost has his second when he fires in a loose ball against the post.
Willock is down, in obvious pain, as Milunovic deliberately smacked him in the face by throwing his arm across behind him. He should be off, and isn't even booked.
Holding goes flying through, I think Ivanic, with his studs showing and out of control, and somehow only gets a foul as punishment.
Whistles for Arsenal now, as they keep the ball comfortably.
Wilshere gets a really sore one from behind, but is able to carry on.
Scherbitski punches away a corner from the left. He certainly has clownish tendencies, on this showing. Giroud then gets a header on target, looking for his 100th Arsenal goal, but it's saved.
Giroud battles for a long ball down the left wing, and wins a throw on the left wing.
Ospina leaps to his left to tip away a diving header at the near post, but it's offside from the free kick on the left wing.
Arsenal are back, camped in BATE's half, but they retreat a bit now to keep the ball in defence.
- GoalMirko IvanicBATE Borisov
GOAL! BATE 1-3 Arsenal. Ivanic scores - It's a great header, meeting a cross from Rios at the near post, and it flies into the top near corner and past Ospina.
- GoalRob HoldingArsenal
GOAL! BATE 0-3 Arsenal. Holding scores - The corner is swung in from the left, Mertesacker meets it, it comes off Holding's shins, and that's three.
A brilliant pass sets up Maitland-Niles behind the defence on the left, and his shot is kicked away with Giroud lurking. Corner.
- GoalTheo WalcottArsenal
GOAL! BATE 0-2 Arsenal. Walcott scores - Scherbitski receives a back pass, and he scuffs a clearance as Giroud closes in. It goes straight to Walcott, who has a simple shot straight past the 'keeper and into the far corner.
Holding deflects a cross away from the box, but it's teed up for an Ivanic shot from the edge of the box, and this one goes just wide of the far post.
Another speculative effort from Ivanic, but it's well over the bar and the danger passes.
Wilshere picks out Walcott to his right, in the box, and he's on hand to tap in the return pass into an empty net - he's offside, according to the linesman, which is the wrong decision.
Arsenal are seeing plenty of the ball now, and the pitch actually seems to flow pretty well.
Free kick for Arsenal on the left. Walcott curls it in, away from everyone else, and it's out at the back post.
- GoalTheo WalcottArsenal
GOAL! BATE 0-1 Arsenal. Walcott scores - Wilshere plays a one-two into the box off Giroud, and he clips in a cross from the left for Walcott to head in from a few yards out.
Wishere slips in Walcott behind the defence, down the middle, and Walcott's shot is palmed away by the 'keeper.
Borisov are pressing high up the pitch, and win a throw on the left wing. A cross is curled in, and it drifts out for a goal kick.
Ivac has a shot from distance, but it goes well wide.
Neither side has made a breakthrough yet.

A draw should suffice for Arsenal, given they have a win from their first home game. They will be looking forward to much less carnage in the stands this time around, though.
Borisov are undefeated in seven home games, so this isn't a certainty for Arsenal, especially given the conditions in the pitch, and the weakened state of the team.
Wenger has talked about the young players getting their chance: "We see in training that the player has quality. He is here because he has the qualities. After, to show it during competition is something different, and you only discover that during the competition. I said on Monday night after the (2-0 defeat of West Brom) that I would play an experienced team with a young bench. We have a very tight schedule and it is an important game, and that's why there is only one or two young players who will start."
A trip to Belarus is never easy, and it is one of the last remaining dictatorships in Europe, especially unusual since Alex Ferguson retired! Banter.
The interesting thing for the Arsenal team is that Jack Wilshere is making an appearance. if - and this is by no means certain - he can become reliably fit, he still has a future at Arsenal despite his contract running down.
