90'

Mor cuts in and sees a shot blocked - Turkey wasted that short free-kick when there was a chance to send one into the box. Four minutes of added-on time.

-
Turkey's goalkeeper Volkan Babacan (2nd R) clears his line during the Euro 2016 group D football match between Turkey and Croatia

Here comes the former Leicester City striker for Perisic, who limps off the field and gets a warm ovation from the Croatia supporters.

80'

Badelj sees his header from Rakitic's corner sail over the Turkey crossbar.

77'

Rakitic wheels his arms to buoy up the Croatia fans - Babacan then tips over a header from Brozovic.

Back comes Corluka with a big white wraparound bandage. Srna's cross towards Mandzukic is headed clear in his own box by Sen.

75'

Sen fouls Rakitic down the right and hits the Barcelona midfielder on the head with his boot in the follow through.

73'

Corluka is bleeding again as Turkey attempt a quick throw down the left.

72'

HITS THE BAR: Perisic heads a whipped Mandzukic cross from the right against the bar from 5 yards!

71'

Modric is caught in midfield by Mor, Turkey carry on with the attack and Calhanoglu drags his effort from outside the area wide.

70'

Burak gets behind Vida to a long ball but is unable to control the ball with his head, and the chance is lost.

69'

Turkey's Emre Mor, 18, the third-youngest player at Euro 2016 behind Portugal's Renato Sanches and England's Marcus Rashford, replaces the disappointing Tosun.

67'

Mandzukic floats a header over the Turkey bar from Modric's cross from the right.

66'

CHANCE: Perisic skins Gonul but Brozovic is just unable to get studs on the cross at full stretch.

64'

Turkey bring on Burak to play in a 4-4-2 with Turan the captain the man sacrificed. That seems an odd decision from Fatih Terim.

63'

Brozovic and Srna have been a real threat for Croatia down the right.

62'

Modric tees up Srna but Croatia clear for a throw in. Babacan then grabs the ball away from Mandzukic from second-phase possession.

54'

CHANCE: Srna shoots wide with his left foot from Babacan's unconvincing punch from Perisic's low cross from the left.

53'

Modric gets away with a wild challenge on Turan - he could have injured himself more than the Turkey captain there.

51'

HITS THE BAR: Srna hits the bar from 20 yards with the set-piece with Babacan well beaten.

50'

Rakitic runs at the Turkey defence and it takes a foul by Ozan Tufan to check the run on the edge of the area.

49'

Madzukic's weak header from Rakitic's free-kick from the right is easily saved by Babacan.

48'

CHANCE: Volkan Sen sees a well-struck volley blocked by his own team-mate Tosun. Hakan Balta then gets a yellow for a late challenge on Mandzukic.

47'

Modric makes a great interception to cut out Calhanoglu's reverse pass down the right of the Croatia penalty area.

46'

Volkan Sen of Fenerbahce replaces Ozyakup at half-time for Turkey. Croatia in blue kick off the second half.

The Swedish referee blows up for half-time, and Croatia lead 1-0 after a disappointing first 45 minutes thanks to Luka Modric's stunner from 25 yards.

45'

Hakan heads Caner's corner just wide of the near post. Two minutes of added-on time.

44'

Croatia fans buoyant now. Perisic makes a great tackle in the box to stop Turan and concede a corner.

42'

Five games at Euro 2016 - five bad goalkeeping mistakes! That is goal number 11 for Modric for Croatia.

41'

GOAL: Turkey 0-1 Croatia. Modric slams home a high ball from Selcuk's clearance from 25 yards into the corner of Babacan's goal. What technique from the Real Madrid man, although the goalkeeper should really have saved that.

40'

Srna sees his cross from the right come off Erkin.

38'

Croatia expected perhaps that this match would be a lot easier - Turkey are very much in it though, stopping play in midfield with some clever fouls and stopping the Croats from getting any momentum.

37'

Turan makes a challenge to rob Srna down the right and concedes the corner. From the second ball, Mandzukic shoots straight at Babacan.

36'

Calhanoglu shoots a ridiculous effort from 40 yards well over the Croatia goal.

35'

Modric concedes a foul down the left for a foul on Calhanoglu. The Real Madrid playmaker seems a bit ratty this afternoon.

33'

Madzukic is back up and holding his head after being caught by Kakan Calhanoglu. The Juve striker then makes a great sliding tackle on Selkuk in midfield.

32'

Back comes Corluka - though Turkey are more worried about the threat of Rakitic.

30'

Off to Corluka for a bandage and a change of shirt. Croatia go down to ten men for the moment.

29'

Corluka gets a bang to head after being caught by Tosun - there is blood, but that wasn't too heavy a challenge. But the Turk gets a yellow card anyway.

28'

25'

Brozovic puts a good cross in from the right after linking up with Modric but there is no blue shirt in the Turkey area.

24'

Corluka does well to hold off Erkin down the left flank from Turan's pass down the channel.

23'

CHANCE: Brozovic heads wide from 15 yards from Srna's cross from the right. The Croat captain is a constant threat down that flank.

22'

CHANCE: Perisic gets down the left but Brozovic is unable to get his header on target.

21'

Vida then holds up Tosun on the halfway line and Turkey have a free-kick. This is poor stuff so far.

20'

Rakitic runs at the Turkey defence, holds off three players but then Turan comes back to nick the ball.

19'

Croatia are winning the midfield battle - Cenk Tosun has hardly had a touch for Turkey up front.

18'

Croatia clear a Caner Erkin corner at the near post. Poor from Turkey, that.

17'

Strinic gives away a daft free-kick down the right, with Turan on the floor and going nowhere. Bardelj clears Hakan Calhanoglu's free-kick for a corner.

16'

From second phase possession, Hakan Balta clears Mandzukic's weak but on target header.

15'

Hakan clears a low cross from the right by Srna. Ozan then concede a corner under pressure by Badelj.

14'

Turan cuts out a Rakitic ball intended for Mandzukic - the Turkey skipper obviously has a free and roving role, as he drops back to help his defence.

12'

First shot of the game is hooked well wide by Ozan.

11'

Ozan gets the ball after a period of scrappy play but Corluka manages to nick the ball off the Fenerbahce player.

Turkey's Arda Turan in action with Croatia's Marcelo Brozovic
10'

Turkey captain Turan is fouled on the halfway line - this is a very bitty and defensive match so far.

9'

And that is a shocking free-kick from Hakan Calhanoglu - it sails straight into goalkeeper Daniel Subasic's arms.

8'

Badelj concedes the foul 40 yards out for a cynical block on former Arsenal youngster Oguzhan Ozyakup.

7'

Perisic gets free down the left but the Inter winger overhits the cross and Turkey have a goal kick.

6'

Modric playing in a deep role for Croatia - Mandzukic is doing a lot of work down the channels. Selcuk fouls Badelj in midfield.

4'

Croatia have a corner down the right but Vida is unable to get a clear header on the ball. There were just four Croats in the area against nine Turkey players.

3'

Modric is fouled by Ozan, and Jonas Eriksson just has a gentle word with the Turkey No 16.

2'

CHANCE: Rakitic gets in front of Hakan sees a round the corner volley from Srna's cross from the right drift just wide.

1'

In the rain of Paris, Turkey in red shirts and black shorts kick off against Croatia all in blue. Turan sees an early cross from the left cleared.

13:55

There is a great atmosphere in the ground as we await the national anthems.

13:50

Croatia coach Cacic expects an improvement on his country's performance at Euro 2012 and the 2014 World Cup, where The Vatreni went out at the group stage. "We have experienced players, who have been to tournaments before, and we have new players, quality young players," the 62-year-old, who replaced Niko Kovac midway through the qualifiers, said.

13:45

All the attention seems to be on Croatia ahead of the match, but Turkey have a striker in form in Cenk Tosun, who scored 17 goals for champions Besiktas this season.

13:40

Coach Fatih Terim says Arda Turan will be Turkey's key player at Euro 2016 despite his lack of game time at Barcelona because the club were banned from registering from new players until January.

La Turquie d'Arda Turan veut créer la surprise
13:35

Croatia finished third at the World Cup in France 18 years ago, but skipper Srna believes the current squad is at least as good as the 1998 vintage. "There is excitement and euphoria - we have one of the best teams in Croatian football," the Shakhtar Donetsk defender said.

13:30

Five of Croatia's starting eleven are Serie A players - Mandzukic, Brozovic, Perisic, Ivan Strinic and Badelj.

13:25

"I do not want to think about that too much," Croatian captain Dario Srna said. "It was painful memory for all of our supporters and all of our players. It was a difficult match and a painful defeat. Turkish teams have shown that you have to play until the very last second, and that shows that their mentality is very strong. They are big fighters, and we have to take care of this."

13:20

However, one of the four draws was during the quarter-finals of Euro 2008 in Vienna where Turkey won on penalties, with Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic and Mladen Petric all missing from 12 yards at the Ernst-Happel Stadion.

13:15

The sides have met six times before, with Croatia winning two of the matches with the other four ending in draws.

13:10

History and precedent in Paris seems to be with Croatia, who have lost just one of their last six group games at the European Championship, while Turkey have lost all three of their previous opening games at European Championship finals.

13:05

TURKEY: Babacan; Gonul, Topal, Balta, Erkin, Tufan, Selcuk Inan, Ozyakup; Calhanoglu, Arda Turan, Tosun...Subs: To follow. ///CROATIA: Subasic; Srna, Corluka, Vida, Strinic; Modric, Badelj; Brozovic, Rakitic, Perisic; Mandzukic. Subs: To follow.

13:00

Cenk Tosun gets the nod as Turkey's lone striker in Fatih Terim's 4-3-2-1 formation, while Selcuk Inan and Ozan Tufan start in midfield charged with the task of cutting out the supply lines to Mandzukic.

12:55

The teams are in, and Juventus' Mario Mandzukic starts up front for Croatia in coach Ante Cacic's 4-2-3-1 formation, backed up by the wide men Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic. Luka Modric provides the guile from midfield, assisted by Fiorentina's Milan Badelj and Ivan Rakitic of Barcelona.
