Robben puts Ribery row in past
Arjen Robben has dismissed reports of a fall-out with Bayern Munich team-mate Franck Ribery, saying it would be a "pleasure" to play with the Frenchman.
Netherlands star Robben was widely reported to have become embroiled in a physical confrontation with his fellow winger during their Champions League semi-final with Real Madrid.
Some reports suggested they had landed blows in the dressing room but, while Robben acknowledges there were problems, he is more than happy to put them behind him.
“Things happened that were not easy,” Robben told Bild. “I found it unfortunate that they happened, but before then our relationship had always been really good, on and off the pitch.
“Now everything is back in order. We are now working in the same direction and I hope to return to the pleasure of playing alongside him.”
Both players are understood to have been fined for the altercation. Bayern went on to win the two-legged tie, although they lost the final on penalties to Chelsea.
