Biography

    • French team founded in 1992 under the name Chazal before becoming Petit Casino in 1996. The insurance broker AG2R arrived on the scene as a co-sponsor in 1997 and the team took his current identity in 2000. They did not take part in the inaugural UCI ProTour in 2005 but following the signings of Francisco Mancebo and Christophe Moreau they were handed the license left vacant by Fassa Bortolo in 2006.
