Androni Giocattoli's Italian rider Roberto Ferrari burst clear to win the Route Adelie in Vitre, France – the fourth race in the Coupe de France series.

Ferrari got an edge on the peloton by two seconds to seal the victory on an uphill finish ahead of Laurent Pichon (Bretagne Schuller) and Julien Simon (Saur Sojasun).

Earlier in the race, a group comprising of the Ukrainian Oleg Chuzhda (Accent Jobs - Verandas Willems), Mathieu Delarozière (La Pomme Marseille), Pierre Drancourt (Roubaix - Lille Metropole) and Russian Alexandr Efimkin (Team Type 1 - Sanofi) had built up a lead of as much as 8'40" but they were reeled in just under 60kms from the finish.

Arnaud Demare (FDJ-Big Mat) keeps his lead in the overall Coupe de France standings.
