Coming into the match following a 2-0 victory in the NatWest Women's Twenty20, England made 229 all out, with Arran Brindle striking 58 off 73 balls while there were also decent contributions from Sarah Taylor (38) and Tammy Beaumont (27).

However, it proved to be nowhere enough, opener Poonam Raut (60) helping the tourists make a fine start and Harmanpreet Kaur also hitting 50 before Raj stole the show with an excellent 94 not out to guide India home with three balls to spare.
