Haye v Fury announced this week?
Although the self-imposed deadline to make the David Haye v Tyson Fury fight has now passed, many expect the blockbuster heavyweight match-up to be signed this week. It looks like taking place on September 28 at the Manchester Arena, according to the Daily Star.
Haye's trainer and business partner Adam Booth confirmed: “We have sent Fury the contract.”
Fury said on Twitter: “I’ll fight Haye tomorrow. I’ll sign the contract first thing Monday morning if Haye is willing. He can have it all his own way. Let’s get going.”
Traveller Fury is well known for his outrageous Tweets, and joked that Haye's offer of a 50/50 split would not allow him to buy the new caravan that he's after.
But it's being reported that the proposed fight, which will be screened on either Sky Box Office or Richard Desmond's PPV channel Primetime, could net the heavyweights as much as £5m each.
